hmmmm.....Angel sanctuary, Fake, um...... X (compared to the movie) most of the animes(well ovas actually) were too rushed. not enough emotion and it's just like a whirlwind.....

Thats tough but Kareshi Kanojyo No Jijyo aka his and her circumstance, the latter half, (because the anime ends in a cliff hanger) hehehe Fruits basket- toharu seems cuter, and Yuki seems a llliiitttle manly-er

I agree! With the person below me! Kare Kano is SOOOO much better on the screen than the actual text version...you laugh a hell lot more...and then you just keep on laughing....unlike the manga...which is all over the place...and you forget whose with who and yeah.. |

If you're a Love Hina fan, you'd definitely like the manga a LOT more than the anime. I've been reading the Rurouni Kenshin manga and so far, it looks like it's better, which is a shame. I know it'll get even better later anyway. *sigh* Some anime just can't keep up. |

The Rurouni Manga doesn't have the Holy War chronicle (i think it's the best part of the anime, 2nd to last season) but it has a "proper" ending chronicle not that yin yang stuff from the anime.. |

I can think of only two at the moment: Love Hina (actually, the anime was TERRIBLE) and Midori no Hibi (the anime was decent, but it ended too soon).

.hack//Legend of the twilight - They made the anime all cutey and stuff because fans said that .hack/sign was "too talky'. They ruined one of the best animes ever..... Yu-Gi-Oh! - Mutch more drama, a lot more is explained. One Piece - OMFG the voices! Don't get me started on thoses voices! Yu Yu Hakusho - In the anime, they cut some REALLY funny little side-things out that should have been in there. Like what happens after the 4 Saint Beasts thing.
"Well, I'm not sure. A little voice in my head is saying 'this is a bad idea' but I can barly hear that little voice because an even louder little voice is yelling "LET THE 12-YEAR OLD DRIVE!'" - from The Cat in the Hat

Rurouni Kenshin, (eng.Dubbed) O.o What's wrong with the dub? I thought it was good (though the editing was a problem, but the version on DVD doesn't have that problem...) And .hack//sign WAS too talky... |

Descendants of Darkness (aka Yami no Matsuei) was alot better in manga form (though I can't say I hate the anime.... ^.^) Alot more comic relief and the characters played off each other better too... (plus they had Saya and Yuma in the manga but no such mention in the anime!! *gasp* LOL ) ^^ Gravitation is also better in manga form. Though it's nice to see Shuichi in pink hair... and Shuichi's antics are fun to watch.... Gravitation in anime form made Ryuichi seem.. child_ish_ not child_like_ likewise for YnM with Tsuzuki. ^^ Anything else.. hmm... well I do have to say that I love animes that don't follow the same plot as the manga (aka Trigun) because if both plotlines are decent then I love them both. hehe. ^^ a bad example would be Sailor Moon.. (eesh.. bad news: Must feed the tree Energyyyy) that was corny, but hey didn't much like the anime anyway. the manga was better. not by much though. It was ok. |

My brother and I both agree that Love Hina is better in manga form. I think Angel Sanctuary, Twin Signal, Petshop of Horrors all are wonderful manga (although I only resent the anime because there isn't enough, somebody make more Twin Signal and more Petshop of Horrors anime please please please). Fake is better manga and I'm not passing complete judgement on Yami No Matsuei until I see what Viz's translations like (I did actually like the anime and even the dub wasn't truly cringeworthy). It's a very close race but the Saiyuki managa wins over the anime but only because of the seperate Gaiden bit. Gravitation appears to make a better manga but I haven't seen a lot of the anime yet.

Flame of Recca was hell better in manga form. I liked Kenshin much better in Manga. As well as Love Hina as mentioned, although there was ALOT more fanservice. Azumanga Daioh was good in both Anime and Manga, but I liked the Manga better, since it was alot funnier, but the Anime isn't far behind. DNAngel was better in Manga form IMO, it was more shounen-ai-ish in manga form, and it looked alot better. An oldie, Maison Ikkoku was better in manga form as well. Naruto I liked the manga better, as most of the time, fights take 3-6 pages not 1-3 episiodes. This goes for most fighting animes :) One example of a Anime that was better then the manga is Elfen Lied. The manga looks like it was drawn by a 6th Grader, but its obviously not, with all the blood and decapitation. But it gets better later on. As well, I didnt really like the rough choppy drawing style of Ah My Goddess, but the storyline was better in the manga, yet animation in the Anime. Most of the time, the manga is better, but not always! |

GTO manga was better and longer than the anime, which ended after the schoolboard incident. as far as I've read in the manga, Onizuka got demoted to teacher-in-training and some freak girl is about to get Kikuchi in a hell-lotta trouble.
HOLY CRAP ON A STICK!!!
