WWF superstar, Eddie Guerrero passes away

I know several people here are prowrestling fans and I was shocked to find out that Eddie Guerrero passed away. http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/eddieguerreropasses It is truly surprising since he just competed on Smackdown for the Survivor Series spot. He was definetly one of my favorite wrestlers. I enjoyed his gimmicks(especially the "If you're not cheating, you're not trying time) and wrestling ability. It would truly be a shame if this was the result of a relapse into alcohol and drugs which has taken the lives of so many wrestlers. My thoughts and prayers go to the Guerrero family.

My guess is he died from a weak heart. Remember that he had a serious junkie problem? He was away from wrestling for awhile for drug rehab. Whether he resumed the habit after that is still unknown, but even then drugs still have after-effects. \m/ to Guerrero.

Well, I dunno RzmmDX. Though last night's Raw was dedicated to him, I think it was one of the greatest shows ever. But I will admit that the WWE , or even wrestling for that matter will never be the same without him. I was also touched by the superstar's words of how Eddie impacted their lives and those around him. Eddie made everything out of a second chance. I think through his life, we always have second chances and that we have to make the best of them. I am sure God has a special place for this wonderful human being, he will be missed, but he will be in the hearts of his family, his fellow wrestlers, and his fans.

I've never really like Eddie Guerrero as much as other wrestlers, but I have to be completely honest and say that he entertained me. That was his job and he did it to the best of his abilities. For that, I thank him. Thank you, Eddie Guerrero! |

I don't think Sayonara are the necessary words to say goodbye. Rather, Adios Amgio. Eddie also made a name for himself in Japan by being the second person to wear the Black Tiger costume and mask. I don't know if there is any news of New Japan intending to retire the Black Tiger gimmick. But I understand in both Japanese and Mexican wrestling traditions, the mask is a mark of honor.

I still can't believe eddie is gone...r.i.p eddie. I love the fact that he would always "cheat" during his matches, hilarious and entertaining, he will be missed...  Light... it can't end like this! |

Just like some of the superstars, when I saw the news that Eddie passed away, I was hoping it was all a bad dream waiting to wake up from.

Like many of you, I was shocked to hear of Eddie Guerrero's passing. I cried when I went to the WWE website to find out about the news. I have been a huge Guerrero fan since his ECW dayz. He was one of the reasons why I got into wrestling. But not only was he a great wrestler, but a great human being. During his battles with his personal demons, alchool, and drugs, he went to hell and back and conquered them. I actually got a chance to meet the man himself this past summer at SummerSlam in Washington, D.C - where I live. To see the man perform was like creating a masterpiece. He put his heart + soul for his work, and has made millions of fans(myself included) over the world. Eddie, u were a top-notch wrestler, and a fighter that never quit. I want to thank u for being an inspiration to me, as well as others. Your spirit and your "lying, cheating + stealing" ways will live 4ever through the fans you touched.
