| Sorry Kenshin fans, but I'm a HUGE fan of Samurai Champloo. I think it's hilarious, and much more emotional than Kenshin sometimes. Plus, I love the music in Samurai Champloo. Yay! Dangerously delicious doom and gravy! My favorite! xD |

Samurai Shamploo. Although I have been with Kenshin longer, that show is hilarious! Lotsa attitude, cool music & some awesome action! ^^

Rurouni Kenshin. I like Samurai Champloo too. But it was just outrageous to see the misplaced thing in that anime. Gotta say, too much funky for a samurai type anime.

Having seen both all the way, funny-wise I like Shamploo at certain parts alot more(Ji-Ji-Jin!!that was hilarious!) and it's also slightly (only barely tho) cooler, but on the classic-ness scale I'd say Kenshin beats it badly. In a fight though, Kenshin would kick Mugen and Jin's rear ends, but only after a long battle. Mugen would use improv dunken-boxing-sword attacks, and Kenshin (having not really fought anything like that) would probably have a little trouble, but Jin's fighting stlye is more traditional like Kenshin's, and although Jin's good, he really doesn't stand a chance.

| Okay I like both shows. Champloo has a bit more of a relaistic feel to it at times but the hip hop culture feel of it kinda turns me away from it. The characters are great and love the little squrril that Fuu has. Kenshin I've been with that longer than and have a bigger attactment to the characters. So I guess I like Kenshin better. |

I like Champloo better, but I was a huge fan of Kenshin for a long time. Champloo is just cooler, and reminds me of Cowboy Bebop, which I love as well. Kenshin is cool too, but can be somewhat corny sometimes, and feels more like a samurai soap opera than a cool, laid-back movie like Champloo. I like Kenshin as a character the most, with Mugen being second. I also like the music in Champloo a lot more. Shiki no Uta is a great song! |

Kenshin is okay, but Champloo wins hands down. I like the animation better, the characters better, the music better, and it doesn't have that somewhat dorky feel that Kenshin does.

Think Champloo will continue? (Movies, games, etc?) Don't people like the Kenshin OVA a lot? I thought people were obsessed with it. Never got a chance to see it...(so sad...) |
