aww... man! if you're talking about the final fantasy:advent children, i can tell you what it was all about. but you ask about final fantasy. i bet you're not a gamer. final fantasy are a series of game. this series were very popular all around the world. you must just came out from hiding for 20 years to not know about final fantasy.

Final Fantasy has no main storyline, as each of the games are unrelated to one another, with one exception (FFX-2). Seriously, do you think one storyline could carry on for 12 games? Final Fantasy was created by Squaresoft in the 80s. It is called Final Fantasy because it was the company's last chance at success. Failure would mean bankruptcy, so fortunately for them, Final Fantasy was a huge hit! In general, each game has a VERY vague similarity in plot. Usually it involves some bad guy trying to destroy everything and the main hero/herione and his/her entourage (and mandatory romantic fling) set out to stop them. In general, FF games are very challenging. No wait, a better word would be cheap...in fact, many times I wanted to snap the disc while playing. Some bosses can literally kill everyone in your party with one cheap move! Why endure this? Because FF always has amazing epic tales told through visually stunning cutscenes, the likes of which have stood the test of time (the Playstation FF games still look damn good, better than some current titles) and especially because of the music, which is done by the japanese musical master Nobuo Uematsu (even random people in the street hum music from FF). If you are new to FF, try Final Fantasy 7 for the Playstation first(it's easy to find, hell, even restrooms have vending machines for it^_^), it's the most popular and most respected game in the series. You'll love it...or hate it...what do I know? Hope this helps! |

Personally, I like FFX, for the PS2 (Final Fantasy 10) the best, but FFX-2 571nk5z0rz... Heh, I always wondered why they called it "Final Fantasy"... There's so many of them, all which have fantasy, yet it's Final Fantasy... an inappopriate, but cool, title.  |
