Hey everyone! I was just wondering if anyone out there besides me is pumped for the new Hellsing OVA series that's being produced. I've seen a trailer of the new series, and I'm glad to say that it's going to be much more faithful to the original manga by Kohta Hirano and feature such awesome characters as Rip Van Winkle (Seras's competition for cutest female vampire) and Captain Pip Bernadette (my absolute fav character from the manga.) And now, we get to see the real Hellsing in it's fully animated glory! (or should I say, 'gory?') Thoughts? Comments? Extra info? I'm all ears! |

I think it's going to be an awesome OVA series. I really can't wait for it to come out in the US. I really like the manga and the TV series. But the OVA is going to rock! The trailer was so cool. Sir Integral is like my favorite character. I wonder who will be the english voice actress for Sir Integral? Will it be the same person that did the TV series or will it be Different? I hope they keep the same person that did the voice for Alucard in the TV series for the OVA. Well those are my thoughts. I wonder if anyone agrees to keeping the original voice actors and actresses. If so, why? If not, why not?

Well, I do suppose that Geneon will try to get the voice actors used in the original Hellsing series (Crispin Freeman as Alucard, etc.) However, I for one really like the original Japanese seiyuu used in the series. I love Nakata Jouji's Alucard, and sometimes I watch the trailer for the old series just to hear Anderson's laugh. |

it sounds nice considering that I am that familiarized with hellsing's theme and background. isn't it a coincidence then that my class is making a play about Helsing? it's about a tragic love story between a helsing and vampire. BTW, any ideas on what to use for blood? I don't think ketchup will work out... and, we plan on making the vampires' blood blue... :D m y . L i F E . i . t r a d e . i n . f o r . y o u r .
