Your own personal Eden

If you could make your own personal eden on earth, how would you do it and what is your definiton of eden? Is eden just a false dream? can people actually achieve it on earth? How would they do it?Would every one like it?

My own personal eden would be a quiet lonely place with good music and no money. I dont see how i could make this but i could travel to some quiet community that is self functional.

That's a beautiful eden, thegentlewind! Frankly, eden is what you make of it, no one can create or achieve it by themselves. Eden would be heaven on earth, but if heaven is on earth, then what would afterlife heaven be...there can't be two...

My personal eden would be a world without the flaws of humanity, but our flaws make us human...therefore eden for me would be devoid of humanity as we see it now...

A better, less selfish humanity coexisting without strife and with only peace and love as a necessity would be perfect.

Yep, that's my eden...^-^'

but can eden on earth ever really be achieved? I don't think its going to happen anytime soon because of all this political stuff. We can't be one country because all of our ideals are different. I don't think we should fight over them though. If you look at the facts then you would see that fighting is very harmful to your country, especially if your countries is being fought on. I think a greater understanding would come out of this. Of course not many people are going to stop fighting because not all countries understand each other. The people who think they are strong invade other countries for small disputes. Those countries are dillusional and are not strong but weak. I also believe that a country can be forgiven for something that happened a long time ago. I don't think it is right to disarm Germany(after world war I) and dont't think it was right to disarm Japan after world war II.

My personal eden huh. Well if it is just for me and "Eve" then it would have everything, without all the bad stuff. It would be like an everlasting date at a perfect theme park. There would be every possible know thing you could do for fun, every type of setting like flower land and stuffed animal land to graveyard land and sushi land, as long as we both like it. And unlimited energy so I wouldn't ruin the fun by getting tired. I would be free to love "Eve" without having to worry about anything happen to her. No job, no taxes, no injury, no death, no other people. All the food makes its self, beef doesn't come from any animal it just exists as beef. There is no such thing as a bad memory or feeling. Just me and Eve on our happy land where the anime and music of our dreams is brought before us. And of course im dreaming.

But a heaven on earth? Maybe if you did something like the matrix, where you stuff each person in their perfect world. But we all who watched the movie know what happened to the original matrix.

Even if it were to work correctly it wouldn't last forever, something would end it a somepoint, and it wouldn't be much of an heaven if it didn't last forever.

My eden? Well,it would be a place filled with many kinds of flowers,a gentle breeze would come now and then, and the sky would never darken,it would stay the purest blue, the sun would peek out behind the clouds, and I would lay among the flowers looking at the sky, smiling, because I know nothing bad would happen in this place,I would be...safe. It's nice to dream a dream, what's sad about dreams is that....they're only dreams.

I like to call it paradise instead of eden but that's only because I'm a Wolf's Rain fan. Whenever this is mentioned I think of a place in my mind that resembles a field very close ot my house. The spring flowers that bloom there are beautiful and I used to go out to that field with my dog and let him loose. He would chase whatever he could stir up and I would lay out in the middle in the flowers. I would sit out there all day long and maybe listen to music or run with my dog. I couldn't think of a better place to stay for the rest of my life. I haven't gone to that place since my dog died and houses were built right on the outskirts of that field. Still that paradise exists in my mind, where my dog and I run eternally among the spring flowers.

@jomunga, my paradise was not only expressed on the physical plain but it will continue until the day I die within my heart and mind. So in a way my paradise will live on. Sry for the double post.

i will make sure nothing unbalance the nature of my Eden, trees, plants, animals, avians, some humans, and lotsa lost relics surfaced above of the earth. any metal parts found are to be used for tools and buildings, never for weapons. gunpowders are used for fireworks and parade events. people must pray to the hunted prey they hunted down, or they'll be cursed with famine for 3 months. wars can be fought, but only in a specific place with a specific and reasonable reasons, and settle through force. casualties set to minimum but readying the best medical devices available. wyverns, dragons, and other mythical creatures also exist to terrorize towns and cities, to balance nature. e.g. towns/cities that are too large/metropolised will be eliminated by forces of nature to balance the scale.
