In a certain situation... which one d u choose to have? Like forr example, how about you and your best friend happened to like the same guy/ girl... Which one you choose to have and keep? Give up you love, and support your best friend... Or become your best friend's rival and go for your love...???  |

I'll go for my love! Since my best friend have always been my rival in every kind of situation, I think he's gotta be excited and will do his best to kick me out just the same like I'll try to kick him out! Either I lose or he loses, we're gonna be best friends forever!

feet could only walk for miles clothes wont be forever be in styles but friends they´ll be there for a long time... when you boyfriend has left you, friends still stick together... though I must say, there are also friends that doesnt want to see there friends in a happy state, and they try to ruin it... but those kind of friends cannot be considered as one... |

A lover of course. However I have a special relationship Wendy, my best friend. she is always there when I need her and vice versa.  |

| This is what i mean by pain beyond pain beyond pain beyond pain. Your friends have been there for so long(maybe) but you throw all that away for something that's only just now started between you and someone else. Unless your friend is being totally ignorant(not much of a friend) you should always choose your friends. |

| I choose my best friend because I have strong ties with my friends. Competition between us over a girl would be be beneath our bond. It'd be like fighting over a piece of meat. If we were both interested in the same girl then she would have to make her decision and we would honor that. |

My best friend married my ex-GF. I proposed she said no, 8 years later she married my best friend. The the ex-GF helped me marry Rin. Today there is no choice between my best friend and my lover. They are the same person. |

my boyfriend IS my best friend. =D sure, i still have my close girl friends and whatnot, but they have their own lives to live, so we don't talk or see each other as much as we used to, but we all still keep in touch and have reunions during vacations and breaks. =)     |

for friend will stick with you forever guys comes and go but friends stays forever my bestfriend have stuck with me for over 8 years, in good times and in bad times even if my other friend courted her she still chose me over him i'm so touched! she cares about me a lot, she wouldn't let anything bad happen to me.

As for my friends sticking with me forever, well ya enough said. Friends come and go but a lover is eternal. My best friend since the 1st grade is long gone with another crowd(9 year friendship). I replaced him with new friends in highschool. Once highschool is finished those friends were gone. I'm only so so so so so so x 999999^(∞) wrong if I follow your definition of a lover. The really the only thing wrong was that over exagerated statement somehow aimed only at me. If we follow my definition I am so right, at least for myself. You really can't say someone is wrong on an opinion. In this situation its really a matter of how good of a best friend you have vs how good of a girlfriend/boyfriend you have. As for myself I am not one to go for love half-assed, I give it my all. I only settle for true love, so my statement stays the same and true. Jomunga eats your avatars. |

I would prefer my best friend if he cares about me the same way. (If not well then that's just to bad.) I would never choose my lover since there are a lot of those and VERY FEW friends.

Friendship can definitely be more deep than any kind of boyfriend or girlfriend you may have. You can be best friends with the person you love, but without the emotional ties attached, it doesn't feel the same. My philosophy that I tell my friends all the time when they go out with guys is "I was there before he swept you off your feet and I'll be there when he drops you like a rock." But I have a question: What do you do when the person you like or maybe even love happens to be your best friend? Would you consider your friendship with him/her to be more important than any kind of other relationship you may have? Because I find myself to be in that kind of situation right now.
