Tales of Symnphodia

Has anyone beat/played Tales of Symnphodia yet? IT IS SO AWESOME!!!!!If youlike viedo games get off your butt,quit reading thismessage,and go buy it.NOW [gratuitous use of exclamation marks removed] ! I beat it in two weeks but trust me its not easy.I only beat it so fast cause it was my brothers( i know i'm a hypocrite)and he wanted it back so I didnt do any of the sidequests.But it is almost as good as FF7 and (dareI say it) it could be better!*gasps of shock and horror from people reading this* Egads what came over me??!!But it is a very very good viedo game and if you like RPGs go buy it now(or go get it from a friend/family member)Just go playit!!!
It's all fun and games untill Snape ends up in a banna suit....

Yes, this is a great game. I've had a chance to play it with my friend. I wanted it when I heard it was Japanese only, so I couldn't ask for it for my b-day in June. Then it's released domestically in like July. *rolleyes*

Isn't this a continuation of the Tales serie (Tales of Phantasia, Destiny, Eternia...) ?

| Well, it's in the same series, but as far as I know, the Tales games, like Final Fantasy, don't have an ongoing story between each one. |

Yup That game is awesome! My Fav. Character is Kratos. I hope they make another Tales Game. whats you guys's fav?

Hey ppl im finally back! Yes i agree Tales of Symphonia is a good game. Did you knwo that if you beat collisiem you can fight characters from the old t ales games. Other than that the game is extremely easy but shadows puzzle is a mindtwister! |

TOS rules, Fav character is Shihna, Who says this game is easy. Ok sure, first time through, if you play on easy, of course, But playing on mania with 1/2 exp is near impossible without 3 friends who are good to play the other characters in battle.

I perfer the classic Tales of Phantasia. Oh, and Thoudans Arms is more quirky, but it really is a lot more like playing throgh an anime than a video game (I know TOD is similar but Thousand arms is anime first, game second).

bah It's my most favorite game on the cube! .. i finished it in 4 weeks... because i want to enjoy it for a long while. My fav character is Kratos.. or maybe Zelos =P .. as you see.. it was hard for me to choose between zelos and kratos later in teh game. But i chose for Zelos =) hehe and latias girl.. i just have a gamecube for a few months now.. i Never thought my parents would let me buy one. They only think of my studies :( |

Tales of Symphonis: Kratos=Cool Zelos is annoying, but at least can get you good stuff. Tales of destiny: Stahn is so funny. Philia is the pure girl. Tales of Phantasia: If you played this, than you'd see so many references to ToSymphonia, it'd make your head hurt. Arche is most interesting char.

I don't know why I'm looking so far back in the forum... But anyway, this was a good game. I managed to get all of the endings and cool stuff. I think the best part about the story is just the little conversations that are had at random places.

| ToS. Awesome all i need to say. Pwnzored. Sheena, Lloyd, Raine and Genis. Best squad ever. Massive combos reachin over 100 limit. Prism Stars has got to be the best compound move in the game, linking up with sheenas summons, IMBA. |

Yeah, it really is great. and ice_dragonz, I know that those are best characters (they're my personal favorites too), but isn't it sort of sad that there aren't any other, equally interesting squads?
The end of the weekend is something that's inevitable... Like a test. Or the Apocalypse.

I beat the game within a week of when it came out, while recovering from my wisdom teeth surgery. That game was awesome because it kept me too busy to notice the pain. It had so many HUGE twists in the plot, as soon as you think you are within a few hours of the end of the game, hey guess what..., everything you have been doing up to now didn't really matter to accomplish anything anyway. You really need to go over here and do all these things... (this happened like, what was it...? maybe 4-5 times) I used Kratos and Zelos quite a bit too, they can hold their own with both sword skills and minor magic healing and offence. |
