I love Ace Combat. I have: Air Combat (Aka Ace Combat in Japan) Ace Combat 3 Ace Combat 4 Ace Combat 5 BTW has anyone seen Ace Combat Zero. It's at www.acecombat.jp

But I have the Japan verison of AC3. The American one Sucked big time cuz they cut almost everything that was story based.

Man! I love the skies of AC... Unsung War and Shattered Skies had really nice Storylines too. But it was really sad when Chopper died on that fly~by mission..T_T  |

Yeah.. AC is a great dogfighting game ever. Played AC3-5. Too bad, no story in AC3 US version. I have beaten all stages in AC4 and 5 in S rank. FALKEN the secret aircraft in AC5 is a flying killer machine! Man, the laser can take out the whole SOLG in one sweep.  |

AC4 and 5 are awesome. I didn't even bother to buy the US version of 3. I enjoyed the plot, no matter how "cheesy" X-play on G4TechTV said it was (at least they gave it a 4 out of 5= good!). My favorite plan for missions involving ground targets is the F-22, for Dogfights I like the (can't remember) the last black one you unlock in AC4 with the Advanced Air-to-Air dogfight MRMs. I forgot what it's called, I haven't played it in about three weeks.

I remember what it's called now! It's the SU-37 from AC4. That was a fast, cool plane...good times, good times.

@h4xor dude In AC4, the last black aircraft isn't Su-37. But It's S-37a. Su-37 is different. In real world, Su-37 has been used by Rusia for military. But S-37a still in experiment and need more improvement. But in AC4, the best aircraft is X-02, it's the secret aircraft. |

Is the X-02 the swept wing one? That one is so incredibly manueverable and fast it's almost cheating.

If you talk about the ratings..: The second one was GOOD, even though it was playable in the PS1 console. But man! It's really awesome! F-14 was pretty overrated... Shattered Skies (4) & Unsung War (5) placed a GREAT rating aside Electrosphere (3) which was only FAIR. =P SS was even greater than UW, and so they would claim. |

| Yes the X-02 was the namco produced swept forward swing wing. And I am a fan of almost anything that looks good, and plays either Realisticaly or just plain fun (a'la Ace Combat series) as a Flight sim. I'm currently waiting on Ace Combat Zero the Belkan war. And It would be great if there was an Online Ace Combat that allowed for customization of your Aircraft (paint, decals, insignias, callsign) and the ability to form mercenary squadrons (clans). Its just an Idea I had awhile back ^_^. |

Online......Now THAT's a good idea!! I'd enjoy facing you guys in dogfights, or even alongside you all against some stupid newbie who speaks in l337. And I just double-checked, My favorite plane in AC4 was the SU-37 (it's the same plane some of the yellows used), NOT the S-37A. The S-37A sweptwing was too unrealistic with its manuevering capabilities. The SU-37 on the other hand, was incredibly fast (even faster than the S-37A) and still had a realistic level of maneuverability. Apparently I never unlocked the X-02 though, how do you unlock it? beat the game on hard?

I still need to buy AC5. And yes, I finally got all three variations of the X-02 in AC4.
