Try saying you like the person of the same sex and see their expressions. 9/10 times are hilarious.

Put it this way, BL are definitely more romantic than any other pairing, and sometimes, they can get pretty hilarious too

Shonen-ai is just more interesting and random. You get more different storylines in shonen-ai rather than the usual boy meets girl, girl meets boy business. It's also interesting to see how the couple gets though to eachother and how their family and friends react. Last but not least i have to mention the not guys in shonen-ai animes! Naturally being a girl i'm uninterested in shoujo-ai unless i was a lesbian. |

i love shonen-ai......its weird but i like it a lot. but i wonder....when i introduced shonen-ai to my friends who are girls they actually like it but when i showed it to my male friends they were disgusted.....do you guys have any idea why....

| I generally have no problems with shounen-ai. It's hentai that bothers me regardless of the sexual orientation. Shounen-ai appeals to me because it's difficult to imagine some male characters falling in love with females. Maybe it's just their demeanor or impression they make upon the audience. |

hm... i kinda agree with C-chan... though i can imagine it'll be seriously awkward for your boyfriend if you're still into yaoi/shounen-ai ^^ haha... anyway, i'm into it^^ i think it's got something to do with the fact that i don't really like female characters in animes... [tho there are exceptions...] yar. and so i guess i believe the male characters deserve much better and um... yar. i just love my male characters... ^^ [that sounded wee bit twisted... ><]

I love shounen-ai... But I have to agree I love Yaoi and Yuri both too. I almost think I like Yuri better. Women just have a naturally beautiful body that guys (well except some anime guys) can compare to.
