Any good BGM??
Link | by りんーちゃん on 2005-12-12 04:25:00
anybody have suggestions for good background musics? I mean, like the instrumental ones like Evangelion music... Fruits Basket's memory at home is a nice example also some piano files here... ^_^ Some orchestra music is nice too. Like, Evangelion's Escape to the Beginning

Thanx in advance!!! ü

eeerrr... You should try Yoko Kanno's work like Ghost In the Shell's OST
and Nobuo Uematsu's work and IveSound's work
and the other is Gankutsuouh's OST

As a symbol I can be incorruptible.

I like most of Yuki Kajiura's music (mostly instrumental but they have latin background vocals to them sometimes)

My favorite Yoko Kanno stuff is probably the work she did on Wolf's Rain. That stuff was really good.

This isn't anime, but Nobuo Uematsu has tons of FF remix music to listen to... like Black Mages (very good) FF -Pray- (also very good) and the FF8 orchstrated album

That's my $0.02. Plus change.

Try Midori no Hibi BGM's. They're cool too!

also try some of Joe Hisaishi's works. but for BGM, i like Kouhei Tanaka's best (sakura wars).
if you like fruits basket 'memory for you' you might want to try the non-vocal tracks from 'shiki' also.

I agree with Kara-chan; anything my Yuki Kajiura is always a great to listen too.

Some of my favorites I can remember at the moment:
Rurouni Kenshin OVA soundtrack
Elfen Lied Soundtrack
Tsubasa Chronical soundtracks
Mai-Hime Sound tracks
Hikaru no Go soundtracks
Gundam Seed soundtracks
Shingetsutan Tsukihime soundtracks
...and several others I know I'm leaving out but just can't think of right now.

Anything by the korean composer ~ Yiruma is also good.

I recommend Escaflowne's BGM and Fruits Basket as well.

Here's a short list of some of their BGMs:
Black Escaflowne
First Vision
Memory
Black and White ^_^

Can someone help me with the title of Shaman King's BGM? The BGM is played everytime the X Laws appear, its like an orchestra... Pls give me the title.

@Jaydel-san: Seigi no Shisha (X-Laws)

Yae can find a lot of good BGMs from RPGs. And to name some great, all-time artists, I'd recommend Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Cross), Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy), Miki Hagashino (Suikoden), Dennis Martin (Legend of Dragoon), Yoshino Aoki (Breath of Fire), Michiko Naruke (Wild Arms), and a lot more! :P

Yuuke!
