| has anyone heard the black mages...a band that remixes final fantasy songs...are they the ones who remixed one winged angel on advent children?...they also did an awesome rendition on force your way for ff8...can anyone recomend other remixes by the black mages? |

ha! i found some songs online by the black mages and man do they rock! they did a cool rendition of "man with a machine gun" and "those who fight further" from ff8 and ff7!who are these guys anyway? |

they're just a bunch of guys who arrange final fantasy music to rock style . Nobuo Uematsu is also part of the Black Mages.

If you go to bluelaguna.net you can download 2 of the Black Mages albums....exellent music to listen too! my personal faves: Zeromus (Final Fantasy IV) Fight with Seymour (Final Fantasy X) Battle with 4 Fiends (Final Fantasy IV) J-E-N-O-V-A (Final Fantasy VII)...i agree Seculi ^^  |

To zparticus...^^ Yeah i thought so to...that Mr.Uematsu-san created the Black Mages. Unfortunately you have to get the Final Fantasy:Advent Children OST to hear J-E-N-O-V-A remixed...that's where the One-Winged Angel remix is found as well.If you already have the soundtrack your set...if not i highly recommend you get it by download or $$$ I don't thimk there is an Aeris theme song remixed...The Black Mages usually does faster-paced music...i could be wrong though. The way they did the beginning of JENOVA...with electric guitars is just awesome....AWESOME!!!!! |

where can i get the soundtrack...damn it so hard to find import copies here in the philippines! izumo i tried your suggestions and battle with the four fiends rocked! it inspired me to play ff4 again!hahahaha i wish future ff's can include black mages' music!especially for boss fights! |

| As the God of all things Final Fantasy 6 (3 in the US on Super NES) , I must recommend their version of the boss music, called "The Decisive Battle"; I got it off of website Blue Laguna (it's where I get all my FF music). |

It's no surprise that Uematsu's the one playing the organ. When he was younger, he used to play in bands, before a friend asked him whether he wanted to do the music. Anyway, I quite like the music, but some songs aren't that good.

| One of the songs that I would have to recommend by the Black Mages would have to be "The Skies Above." It's a remix of "To Zanarkland" from Final Fantasy X. |

Man With the Machine Gun is a great cover and of course Force Your Way..they're all pretty good. I have both of the albums they're awesome ^_~  |
