well whats for favorite best,worst or confusing endings for videogames? here's some of mine... best: ff8- the ending was good especially knowing things went out good for everbody suikoden 2- the happy ending where jowy lived and you being the king! chrono trigger- again everything was perfect for everyone and chrono wed marle! ff9- one of the happy endings threads of fate- good and heart warming "rue" ending! confusing ending: metal gear solid- good ending especially when you save meryl but quite confusing vagrant story- a really confusing story bad ending: ff7- man it was hanging and confusing! there's more but i cant remember most of them... |

Chrono Trigger actually has one of the happiest endings, Chrono marries Marle, and one of the confusing ones, if you start a new game+ and beat the game after you travel back to prehistoric times, but before you defeat Magus. In that ending, apparently Dinosaurs rule the Earth. As far as bad endings go, probably the ending to the original Super Mario Bros. was the worst ending, because all that happens is the princess says that she isn't the princess, and that the princess is in another castle, then she says just kidding. Then tha credits roll.  |

I'd have to say the most confusing ending I've ever seen was Tales of Symphonia... A pretty good ending, too, but confusing O_o  |

| Valkyrie Profile - A ending in Valkyrie Profile. Best ending in the entire game. Really long, but nevertheless a great ending. |

a really bad ending is for Star Ocean: Till the End of time. The game is like 60+ hours long and at the end, even though everyone should die, no one does for some stupid lame reason... |

I can't really say anything about that because my friend is playing that and I enjoy watching him play. It's funny how he loses all the time. He starts to complain about those he lose to.  Laharl, the Overlord of all. I rule Netherworld Restaurant as well.

| Breath of Fire IV. I enjoyed playing it because of the fishing game and magic combos. But the ending's really disappointing (especially if you arrive with the bad ending). |

Best ending. The "GOOD Ending" for Chrono Cross. The "GOOD Ending" for Valkyrie Profile. Kingdom Hearts is very GOOD. Any Final Fantasy game. Confusing endings. Any game with multiple endings....like Star Ocean 2...over 60! Worst ending. HALO 2!!!!!!...not a RPG but :(  |

Best ending? I'd have to agree with the original posters opinion, Threads of Fate's ending was VERY good, of my own I'd say Disgaea's good ending. Confusing ending? I'm surprised no one mentioned this yet, but I vote for Breath of Fire III, that was the most weird a**ed ending ever! And Vagrant Story's ending wasn't confusing, it was completely backed up and decipherable, well, at least it was to me.. The ending was just plain badass! Crappy endings... I never finished a game with a crappy ending before, I always stop just before I finish them.. ^^;

torrentus...really you were not confuse with the ending? i had a hard time understanding that game..but one thing for sure its one kickass game! by the way how can you get silver and that "d" class weapon?i only beat the game twice and still have only few silver and "d" weapons...mostly i have is hagane... |

Halo 2 didnt have a bad ending it was just a cliffhanger for halo 3 to come out. well anyways the worst ending for me was Dead Or Alive 3 with brad wong the drunken chinese guy. lemme describe it. He wins the tournament, finally decides to quit drinking, throws his bottle off a mountain, and then pink cherry blossom like flowers appear all over the mountain.... very strange ... i like the funny endings like in Star Ocean 3 where they have a love/comedy drama with fayt and the blue hair girl. |

you mean u people finish games? wow. I play rpgs for like an hour a month and that just makes them stretch so i never finished a good game. I beat mario and all the zelda games though...
those pajamas...so familiar...are those my sisters!?

| I think the best and most confusing would be the ending in "Shadow of the colossus." Its supposed to be a prquel to Ico,but i've never played Ico(but probably will in the future) so I was confused. It was still a good ending though. One of the best i've seen. |
