Do You Think Seiyuus Can Sing?

I was going through my old forum responses and I found this one and I saw someone wrote that they like Akira Ishida voice (voice of Chrono, Hakkai, Nanami in Sukisho, and also Fish Eye in SailorMoon and others) but didn't really like his singing voice. So I'm wondering do you really think some seiyuus can sing? Name some who can't and can.

There is. Junko Iwao, the voice of Tomoyo Daidouji in Card Captor Sakura. She can sing well. Maaya Sakamoto, the voice of Hitomi in Escaflowne, can sing very very well. She's cool. I recommend downloading her songs. They're very nice: *~ aoi hitomi *~ loop *~ yubiwa *~ light of love *~ yoake no kaze kikinagara *~ gravity  |

| And also Yui Horie. The voice of Tohru (Fruits Basket), Naru (Love Hina), Eri (School Rumble) and a lot more different characters. She also did the theme song performance for Love Hina Again (OAV), School Rumble, Sister Princess, Mahou Sensei Negima, etc. |

Actually, some seiyuu can sing, some can't. Mostly I think singers becoming seiyuu to characters that sings. Like Rie Tanaka as Lacus and Meer. She sings right?

Seiyuus aren't bad in singing,in my opinion.I think it brings in more money for that specific anime when they release the image songs.Tananka rie as lacus clyne ROXS  |

Akira Ishida's voice as a seiyyu is great!But his singing is terrible,I guess.Same goes to Houshi Soichiro.His song,Karin(Get Backers)is so...dunno what to say... But there are some seiyyus that sings!I love Rie tanaka's voice.Plus,theres Yui Makino,Maaya Sakamoto,and Megumi hayashibara. |

Yep! Megumi Hayashibara, Horie Yui, Tanaka Rie are just some of the more famous examples.

I think Fumiko Orikasa has the best voice for a female seiyuu, and Hiroki Takahashi (Harima Kenji in School Rumble) have the manliest voice; eventhough his voice is humourous while singing....-_-"

depends,i feel if they have the talent in singing then they can just sing it^^ good example in female is megumi hayashibara,tanaka rie and takayama minami,takayama is a member in TWO-MIX and seiyuu of conan as well,i like her songs!! all are so techno^^. male..maybe ueda yuuji his song in rurouni kenshi is wonderful!!suzumura kenichi,seki tomokazu,hoshi souichiro....ishida akira is well done in seiyuu but i feel when he comes to sing..need more practice nee^^  |
