Not too sure yet. I heard rumors saying it's going to be around the price range of 300-350. |

it was originally going to be like 700 i think but the creator took out all that extra stuff that made it a super comp so i think its going to be around 500 or so. If you buy all that add ons when they come out with the ps3 it might cost around 1500 @-@.  |

@Xaria: if it is in 1500 range, no one will buy it and Sony's stock sales will go down into a steep hill. it'll be at 700-900 range, no more than 1k.  |

no i ment i heard it was going to be about 500 or so but IF YOU BUY ALL THE AD ONS like the modem and whatever else they have i said it might be 1500. |

its going to be 800+... well modems and such, i think its internal? bah, not sure, but i'm sure the modem+internet connection won't be that expensive either. |

I've heard rumors that the suggested retail price will be around $500-$650, but that doesn't actually mean that will be the set price that Sony uses. |

i think itll be a little less than how much its going to be in japan. lets say maybe from 700k yen or something like that maybe. so itll be maybe 500+ and up for the extras. and probably all the idiots in america like best buy,target,wallmart,gamestop, and definately ebay will try and double or triple the price like they did the xbox 360. i had to buy it at 850 omfg dam bastards. Im hoping to get it right on the first day they ship to america tho since i know some people that work at SONY america division. I hear their starting reservations when its going to come out 2007 and they dont exactly know the price either dum retards... |

Very unlikely that its going to cost over 1k for the console alone (well... at least I hope not..). Probably, like a lot of people mentioned, going to be around the 500-700 range.  Light... it can't end like this! |

it will most likely be atleast $400 but more likely $500. in consideration of buying extras and such, it will max approx. $800......hopefully, the price will drop within 6 months of launch because I love PS3 and cant wait...I actually can wait to pay A LOT less!

I dont know if I am an idiot or not yet but I participated in those darn marketing schemes online where you have to buy a bunch of different things or atleast participate in many free offers and eventually get something in the end. My bid is obviously for the PS3. I do hope what I invested in otherwise is not nearly as costly as the console!
