The saddest ending ever!

I just finished Chrno Crusade. It was the saddest ending ever. However, Rosette and Chrno died happly and peacefully. I wish there will never be a end like this.

i think Hotaru no Haka's ending is one of the most melancholic ones i've ever seen.... and next would be the Rurouni Kenshin's OVAs(i forgot the name)the one Tomoe died and in 'Seshouhen' where Kenshin and Kaoru died...... Why do they have to DIE?! TT.TT  |

Grave of the fireflies It is so sad.. makes me watery just thinking about it. The beginning seeing th eboy die doesn't really effect you sicne you have no idea what is going on, but by the end soooooo sad

| I'd have to go with Saikano and Grave of the Fireflies. KGNE's ending was sad but to me in more of a "I wanted him to choose the other girl" sad. Saikano was quite depressing. |

I just havta say AIR. I mean, you hope and hope throughout the series for her to get better, and for a while it almost looks like she'll make it...and then it ends in the most beautiful and saddest way you could imagine. I cried so hard! |

| AIR was a happy and sad ending at once. But I'd have to go with the Kenshin OVAs that other people referred to, because there wasn't anything happy about that... |

Chrno Crusade is the saddest ending i have seen, bur Gantz has the ending that made me sadder, it sucks man! ã©ã†ã—ã¦ç½ªãŒã‚ã‚‹ã®ã ã‚ㆠ   |

I's really difficult to say, a lot of anime I've seen so far have sad endings. I wouldn't argue with you guys, but I also cried when Revolutionary Girl Utena TV and X TV ended. Why do such great people as Utena and Sorata (from X) have to die? Leaving those who love them behind? WHY??? No fair... It's so depressing...  |

| Loveless. I actually CRIED, and I NEVER cry! T_T I dunno why i found it so sad, but it was so sweet yet horrible I burst into tears. It's not really the saddest anime, but I'm not one for sad animes, but whatever... |
