cosplaying? I think its fun... like getting dressed up for holloween... or when you were a little girl did you ever try your mom's pumps/stilletos? Hmmm I think its the same... as long as its appropriate, not too ambitious and it suits you -- and its done in a convention, club occassion.... party etc etc it should be fine. Going to a job interview to work for your favorite bank in a sailormoon outfit is ill-adviced. |

Dressing like an anime person hmmmm.... welll if u can pull it off u will get alot of those shy chicks who think u just look kool. but i mean if u don't look like the char and u try to dress like it then ur just giving anime lovers a bad name. have u ever seen those people who dress like someone from a show/anime/w/e tv series that dosn't look like it at all? i have a bunch of anime cosplay stuff, but i don't over due it, a full-metal pocketwacth here, a naruto headband around the neck there, a bleach glove on one hand here and a final fantasy neckless there. Trust me i love the anime look, but don;t try to cosplay just one char unless ur going to a convention lol. |

I got my fashion wardrobe in different anime characters but it's not like I'm wearing some anime cosplay! usual clothes like Kurosaki Ichigo in the anime Bleach, Kyo in fruit's basket, and many other anime with a slice of life... |

Not much cosplay anime wear. But I do like my gao gao stegosaurus shirt, all my other anime shirts are just anime logo shirts and not cosplay. When I wore my gao gao stegosaurus shirt for the first time, I got three compliments by people who didn't even know what it was from. So I was pretty much thinking how do you compliment this shirt without knowing its origin? |
Re: Dressing like the anime people..

I personally have never done that, but I probobaly wouldif I were to go to a convention, or something. If you are interested, you can goolge your favorite characters plus the word cosplay. Some of the costumes are pretty good, but others are just sad cries for help. |

Cosplay = costume player (or at least what Pokemon Yellow defined it as...) Basically dress up as whatever character you like to be. Like Halloween. Except lots of times people put lots of effort in making sure everything is like the character they're dressing up as. And without the candy and stuff. It doesn't even have to be anime I think, correct me if I'm wrong anyone. For example, I've seen people dress up as game characters like Dante from Capcom's Devil May Cry, Street Fighter (heh, a Sakura playing Gem Fighters!), and so on. |

Cosplay aint just characters but anything in general. Like cospalying as a nurse or maid. I wore another anime shirt today and got another compliment by a person with no knowledge of the shirt. It was a Full Metal Alchemist shirt, I assume he liked the look of the transmution circle. |

he cosplaying would be cool...like in those conventions where people dress up as anime or game characters...some would go overboard and wear a gundam suit made from fiber glass...cool yet freaky! anyway i dont think wearing what your favorite anime stars make you hardcore but a few accessories wont hurt...i even own a lionhart pendant and kurapikas metal gloves...hehehehe im also planning on buying a fma pocket watch...cool! |

i had my sister cosplay once. it was some 'story book character day' thing, and they had to dress as storybook characters... i had her dress up as umi from rayearth. granted it's not exactly a storybook, but the point is there ^^ yep. don't think i'll ever dress up as a character or anything, but i'm trying to acquire certain accessories and stuff, so i'm lyk currently starving myself, to save up...
