I've played neither, I hear both are good. So which one do you all like best?

I played Halo2. There are some things they taken out that I like. like the pistol is weaker and some other . . . stuff . . . but i didnt get to play GTA, i heard its good though.

Yea sure halo is a FPS. But its extremely addicting if you play it with others, than you need to stategize.

Depends what you like. GTA has become more RPG now, meaning that if you fire you pistol all the time you'll build up your stats for it and eventually you'll hit a level called hitman allowing you to weild two guns. thats the RPG side of it and it's long to get through than Halo 2 which has a short coming Campaign. but if you have Xbox live you'll be playing it for hours (I don't have Xbox live...) Halo 2 offers quite a bit of things to do, like for instance you can now hijack a veichle, no matter what it is too (excepption are the drop ships...and the banshee becuase it's a real B**** to hhijack while it's in mid air) so it's up to you, halo 2 for FPS or GTA for RPG.

It's a damn stretch to call GTA:SA an RPG. Granted it has RPG-elements but is no-where near a full-blown RPG. I played both, more GTA:SA though. I like San Andreas more than Vice City, the whole gang motif is really drawing me in. However the driving engine really pisses me off to no end still, especially missions that are races, god I hate those. Anyway, I prefer Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater to both of them. But I'm a bit of an MGS fanboy. ♥♥♥Shinji |

Oh man...all of my friends and I are major Halo fans, although most of us have played GTA:SA as well. Personally, I would go with Halo 2 anyday just because it's got so much you can do. Everyone thinks about the multiplayer, which is indeed pretty cool, especially the hijacking and the light sword. All of the maps are bigger and better. The bases are more complicated, and just gameplay in general is more challenging in multiplayer because of the sheer number of people you can play against as well as the large and detailed maps. But the single player is pretty cool as well. And no one should forget the double gun-wielding that they added (although I will admit that reloading takes time with two guns--put up one, reload, take it back out, same procedure with the other one). Yes, I find it hard sometimes to distinguish between friend and foe, but you get used to it pretty quickly. So, I'd go with Halo 2. But I would recommend that you be pretty skilled with playing a FPS on the console. It gets near impossible if you're not. If you're not too hot with it, just wait until the port to the compy comes out. I can almost guarantee it will be worth it.

yeah i really should had cleared up what I sai there... anyway GTA is in some respect has a bit of an RPG tree but that is all the rest if pretty much a standard GTA game. I havne't played it myself so I really can't say. You don't need to be a class a FPS to win, but common sense is one thing that the Game rams into your head. Can't expect to walk towards the enemy like a Terminator and not die can you? Anyway if you don't mind DYING like hell when you set it to the highest setting of the game then you'll be fine. An example of this is where I play the last level, each bit took me one or three times to get it right, but the last bit of the level took me 25+ just to get it right.

I don't think its that bad at all. It just develops your skills like mad. I know, I know, there are levels where it seems impossible to move three steps without being sniped, mined, bombed, run over, etc., but hey, I always thought that legendary mode was an awesome challenge in Halo 2.
Anime is w00t. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't know what they're talking about. =)

| I'll have to say Halo 2. Although I like the capabilities of choosing whatever you want to do in San Andreas, Halo 2 was just endless fun. Especially if you had multiplayer. |

i'd halo 2, bcoz' of the graphics special effects that gta san andreas has not! it's obvious, you know!!! most people says that halo 2 is better than gta san andreas. |

lol. you must have been angry to burn both games but you are right. its either gta or halo pick one already.
