I thought this might be an interesting topic. I'm not sure how many Eva fans we have or Gundam fans for that matter, but let the debate begin! |

i like gundam wing zero...but i like unit 1 too >.< this very hard to choose...very with a capital V and everything in bold lesse...but unit 1 has a disadvantage...it needs a power cord to work since the internal batt can't last for more than 3min(i think) and i can't think of any flaw for wing zero... |

nope...unit 01 is actually some type of living thing...it doesn't need power in special cases..

| Wow... I remember a long discussion about this a while back in other boards... I stuck with Unit 01 for fanboyism. Doesn't matter if Wing Zero can fly or not, Unit 01 makes a great turret. The only Gundam that can beat Unit 01 is probably Nu Gundam ^^ |

Yeah, my brother said "Is it from the movie or the series?" I'd have to say Wing Zero, although Unit 01 is much cooler. Wing Zero could just stay in the sky and win :P  |

Eva unit-01 loses the need to use a powercord after it ingested the 14 angel. But both Unit one and Wing Zero may pretty evenly matched. Also Wing Zero's ability to fly won't make much of a difference because the only real mach would be Wing Zero Gundam custom vs the Ture form of Evangelion unit-01, At wings and all.

Wing Zero Would totally beat the crap out of Eva 01 and I´m not just saying this because I´m a huuge fan of Gundam W (though it might have something to do with it ^^; ) but there are actual reasons for this: a) The difference between pilots: Eva 01 is controlled by Shinji, Wing is controlled by Heero....must I say more? u_u I could picture the fighting scene would be something like this: " Shinji: T___T MOMMYY! Why did you dieeeee! Heero (thinks)// Asshole with powerful weapon= danger to the world= must destroy now// And like someone said, Heero would grab Wing Zero open his feathery gundamium wings and fly to the stratosphere. Once there he´d aim at Eva01 with his double-i-don´t-remember-what-massive-cannon and shoot, leaving a nice smoking whole on the ground... " b) Eva01 has limited energy , meaning if he doesn´t beat Wing in 5 minutes, he has no chance to do it at all c) Wing has wings, it can fly, can go to space, has a MASSIVE weapon that kicks ass, has the saber beam, has the zero system! COME ON! Wing would win in every possible scenario.. My only doubt is what would happen if Eva went berserk, and Wing would have Quatre flyinh it with the Zero system on... Mh... , still... I think Wing Zero would win, it has more advantage because of his weapons and wings... Well that´s what I think anyways Ja mata!! |

Hmm....when u compare the size, EVA 01 is bigger than Wing zero (I think)...however, smaller size means more maneuverability so Wing zero has likely chance to win... Heck... just send in EVA 01 Type-F no way Wing zero's gonna win :P  Forget shinji; Dummy plug system~~~  |

Considering if both Unit 01 and Wing Zero were in there Best states, Unit 01 would win, i mean it can fly, regenerate, go berserk, has a lot of weapons, it can end the world if it has that lance so i doubt a Gundam especially Wing Zero beating it. Now i'm a big fan of Evangelion and the Gundam series (even though Gundam Wing isnt as good as some older ones and SEED) so weather this has a part to play on what i think would win or not, well thats my two cents anyway. |

Remember, many of Wing Zero's ranged attacks are useless thanks to 01's AT field. Also keep in mind that while 01 might have reled on a power source at the beginning of the show, it is actually a living being, giving it a huge advantage over a machine. |

I've decided to drag the movie versions into this debate. If you think about the AT field first off you get the sense that its only as strong as the mental stability of the eva pilot. Unit 01 only activated its berserk mode because shinji and his mother were linked together and a whole lot of other factors...I think ^^;. Anyways i believe at this point unit 01 is at it's stongest(excluding when it fused with the true lance). Back track a little. Remember when the duplicate lance of longenis pierced 02's AT field even though Asuka was at practically in beserk mode. Judging from the strength of the AT field one or two shots from wing zero's beam rifles(endless waltz of course) might have been able to take out unit 02(you guys don't have to agree). OK now to unit 01. At this point Shiji's mental stabilty was practically 0(with the exception of the fact that its in like a semi omnipotent state of being). If wing zero were to use its buster rifles to the breaking limit it MIGHT be able to destry unit 01(also don't have to agree with). I just want to say 50/50chance that wing zero would win. Sorry guys this whole thing might be in the favor for Gundam Wing because i like it a little better than Eva(being that this is opinion i think^^;;). Well thats what i think. You guy skewer all of what i said, i don't care just tell me what you think. |

I think most of u are wrong about EVA... Umm think like this all the Eva has a link cable to an electric power source right? Wing just has to blow it up and then EVA can only go on for 5 minutes... where as wing zero can do 2 buster beams and also self destruct itself to take out at least 500 mobile suits. sooo im guessing eva definately wouldnt stand a chance even with a AT field. |

Don't forget to take into account the fact that when the situation calls for it, the Unit 01 can pull far worse than just going berserk. Try shedding all the restrictive armor completely... |
