Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition

Anyone getting it? I might get it since it has Vergil story mode in it. Vergil is sooo cool but since he doesnt use guns he shoots daggers out of thin air. well its going to be one hell of a party all over again for me.  |

Yeah, I'm getting it. ^^ It's pretty neat ya get to be as Vergil for a change. Not that I don't like Dante or anything. (hell, I love the guy XD) But yeah, it's gonna be pretty kick ass to play as Vergil. Anybody here beat all the modes in DMC3 yet? (cause I have...)

I've barely beaten all of the modes in Devil May Cry 3, it was a pain in the ass. I can't wait for the special edition though.

I wanna try the bloody palace mode in the new one i think its going to be crazy harder than dante must die mode since in DMC2 it was hard for me to play bloody palace so i think itll be the same level of hardness. |

I can't wait for it! Bloody Palace is gonna have 10,000 levels! You can choose to go 1 by 1 or skip five or a hundred levels. February 23rd for 20 bucks, can't beat that deal! How's the story gonna work if you play as Vergil? They can't remake the exact same game with completely new levels...this is the Greatest Hits version of DMC3, but with cool stuff. |

its kinda easy like pie. in DMC2 i completed more than 5k levels :/ without a scratch. but i've got bruised thumbs and fingers and can't move for the next 2 days. bedridden. |

Yeah I traded in DMC3 to get DMC3 SE, SE is a little better but I wish they would have given more depth to the Vergil side. You don't even fight Dante in boss battles, you fight another Vergil wearing a red coat. You also only get 2 cutscenes. The boss fights with Jester were good though and so was the extra diffculty mode[Which I've beaten already]. Bloody Palace is pretty good, took me a while to find the trick to getting to the boss fight levels though.    |

| PLaying as Vergil was a little uncomfortable I'd say if you're too used to Dante. The one thing I love about Vergil is how he can equip 3 things at once. |

But the crappy thing about him is he barely has any aerial combo's at all which sicks against bosses since their mostly too high up to hit effectively. Also Vergil is a little slower than Dante when it comes to sword moves. And finally his only available style sucks a lot. It's basically the exact same thing as Dante's trickster style. |

I dont think virgil sucks! Vergil is a better character than Dante. He moves fast and has high damage. His judgement cut is good. Vergil wont be hit cause he has his style which lets him teleport and jump higher! Vergil rocks!!

really?10000 level in bloody palace? Why i have been olaying so long still didnt make my way to that floor? Dante is cool and vergil is suck..but..but..vergil obvious a better character than dante..i have to admit that..

Ahhh now this is the game I love. I got the regular DMC3 and even though I DID have it, I bought SE just for Vergil. I don't regret it at all. Although I don't know why people say vergil is a lot more powerful than Dante. I mean sure, he can summon spiral swords while doing combos on the beowulf [Devil Triggered] but Dante can double his dmg in doppelganger style whilst DT'd. But I have to say, Vergils moves can be a killer. Especially the way he utilizes beowulf with that move that is similar to "revolver" on the cerberus weapon. and there's only 9999 levels on the bloody palace, not 10k ..I prefer Vergil instead of Dante [how can you not love the judgment cut?!] [Mmmm Darkslayer]   |

Way to necro a thread, when Devil Freaking May Cry 4 has been out for 4 months!
Maka here is an wonderful example of why it's a bad idea to home school your children.
Maybe also a good example of why inbreeding is a bad idea, although the paternity test has not been done to say for sure.

I only completed Trickster style though xD At the moment I'm mastering Gunslinger. I find it's kinda slow if I start the game again, so thank goodness there's Bloody Palace. Collect as much red orbs to acquire new skills for the style. I rarely use Devil Trigger... cuz it hardly makes it convenient during battles. Damn Arkham, he's manipulated that poor badass Lady TT__TT And what the hell, he transformed into some fugly monster that summons dolphins xD Monsters I like to slay in the Bloody Palace would be them giant spiders, chess pieces, bloodbirds (idk what's it called xD) but the worst could be the archangels. Hmm, few of us put in DMC4 views in this~ I started playing DMC4 two days ago and I'm hooked! I still want to know more about Nero and his involvement in the Order of the Knights--- what a badass guy, but a soft-hearted when Kyrae is around xD Well, guess I know Dante's motives anyway--- and he can't possibly be the bad guy in the entire game. I shall play, wait and see. |
