| Do you mean the live-action one? I have. It's okay. It's very primitive and a somewhat low budgeted film, or so it looks. I'm currently reading the manga from Tokyopop. If varies somewhat but they usually are on the same page with the killings. The film is also a little confusing and not as violent with not much character depth as I thought it was, as the manga is. Overall it's okay. |

I've seen both BRI and BRII. It is interesting to find that viewers either think it is very interesting, or think it is completely pointless. It was not as gruesome as i thought as people told me it was a very violent movie. I liked the songs in Battle Royale I and II. The movie contained many themes and issues and it was expressed quite well. I also think overall...it is ok!~

| i have BR 2 wasn't as great as the first one. I thought the first one rocked! though it had crappy subtitles, thank god i know some japanese so i was able to keep up with it ^_^ |

I think BRII isn't good as BR. The 1st was excellent, but I think the 2nd is almost pointless. I really liked BR, but BRII... ¬_¬

battle royal 1 the directeur or producer like steven spielberger i dont know how you call it in englisch but i forget.anyway the father i dont know whats his name but he did battle royal 1 and the 2e movie battle royal 2 did his son because his father died after making the first movie so his son make batllle royal 2 thats why the 2e movie is so baddd!!!just no story in it just schoot schoot its just mimic d from the first movie anyway some japanese people has different taste in movies

yep I've heard that BR is good but BRII isn't. I haven't seen the movie but I've seen some scenes..   |

Yeah, I've got the first & second Battle Royales... I loved the first one, as it dealt very maturely with how real people would deal with being thrown into a death sport (as likely as that is :D)... The second was not as good, as it took away much of the game format, though it was still nice to know that the story had continued, even if it led to an ending that didn't take the story far from how it began... |

It's Brutal and Original... and like the other posters has said... the first one was good... the second was sorta lacking... but I felt like the manga was very graphic and more dramatic than the movie...  Kneel Before the Great and Benevolent Cow! |

I've read the Battle Royal novel, which the manga, anime, and live action movie are all based on. It was really good! It totally blew me away. But I've never seen the movie or anime and I've never read the manga. I figured, why spend money on them when I already know the story?  |

Yeah, I saw the movie last school year and it rocked! Yes, true there was a lot of blood and such, but like that's going to keep me from watching it! Anyways, the novel rocked, and I heard the manga sucked so I haven't read that yet.          |

Ugly artwork. I disliked the show for that. The real life movie was pretty good. The novel KICKS ASS! I recomend it even if you dislike the show. It was wonderfully written and the description for the death scenes like with the hatchet in the face...beautiful...

I saw both movies and I like them both....the second was more sadder then the first one cuz it felt like the students were more closer to each other then the class of the first one...and the ending theme song for BRII matched the movie perfectly....I liked them both equaly and if someone told me to pick which one is better i wouldn't be able to.. Havent read the novel yet but the manga was crazy even though i didn't like the art style...btw was this movie gorier then the SAW? I showed my girlfriend and she said that but I never seen the SAW movie so I dont know |

I finished the manga... and it was superb... it had more insights on all the students... it was truly more brutal... The ending was also different... and in fact... it shows that the 2nd movie was: "A means to milk the series for every drop its worth" its a great read... Kneel Before the Great and Benevolent Cow! |

Whoa... I didn't know that there was a manga and a novel!!! (o_o) I saw the first movie a looong time ago... and heard the second one was not as good.. so, I didn't see that one. The best character is "Running Knife Girl!!!" v(^O^)v 笑。Umm.. that's played by actress Kuriyama Chiaki. She was also in Kill Bill: Volume 1. ★ |

I haven't seen it yet, but my friend said it was good. I will be prepared for plenty of gory death...
