Hmmm Just beat the game and I know it has four or five endings. Just got the good ending and saw the bad ending. Anyone out there already or is playing silent hill 4?! I realize playing all that; it was quite disturbing and not that scary at all. Though it did gave alot of headaches with the awkward angle. Anyone's opinion?! |

i finished it too and its creepy u know u have to play in my condition i am living in a dormatory single room about 12 m square and it frightens me a lot but unlike others it doesnt maake me sad simply this game is about main chars loneleness and they suffering like 2/3 of japeness horror things |

| OMG I love that Game... I'm almost done with it. The little boy William is creepy and I found out why he continues to go to ROOM 302.. but I will not spoil it for everyone... play it if you have a good stomache and you're not a panzy. |

| The game was twisted, if you ask me. I mean, you got Walter Sullivan, who's back from the dead (as a kid and his original self), trying to kill all these people so that he could go back to his "mom", and mysteriously you're (Henry is) involved in the scheme. |

This game has to be the best out of the whole horror genre. The ghosts in the game really freaked me out, esp Richard's(guy with the gun).

Meh, Silent Hill 4 is completely overshadowed by Silent Hills 2 and 3. Both of wich were much better. Silent Hill 3 is by far the creepiest of the Silent Hill games, wheras Silent Hill 2 had the overall best story. Not to mention Pyramid Head, I still get creeped out by Pyramid Head. |

Yeah,sh4 has the best graphic than previous. I've completely played all sh series.  |

I've had SH4 since it first came out and still havn't played it all the way through, I guess after playing the previous ones, its pretty tame. In the first two I loved the fog and the creepy radio static...I knew the monster was there somewhere...and the monsters in SH 4 I thought were tame as well..the series goes from skinless dogs to scary manikins(sp?) to a two headed monster baby-thing. I want the dogs back! Ok I'm done ranting =)  Marse Hughes |

The dogs are still there, they just look different. In fact they are the things that you fight ni the subway area right in front of the bathrooms. As for the two headed monster babies, those are victim 7-8 by the way, I think that they are creepier than the dogs, just because when they initiate there attack, the slowly point at you and whisper "reciever of wisdom," (You need to have the volume turned up and listen closesly to hear it) then they do a creepy two-toned infant scream and charge at you. The most dissapointing monster in 4 were the nurses. in two and three they were creepy, and in three some of them could shoot you. Now in four they are giant deformed semi-humanoid things, that belch when you injure them. |

I surprised myself with how much I actually enjoyed this game in comparison to all the other Silent Hills I've previously played. I have to agree about the nurses though. I really missed those faceless bobble headed gun carrying ladies. Their bizarre statuesque counterparts with the unfortunate gastric problem simply wasn't cutting the scary mustard for me. However the bloody freaky things going on in the Room itself more than made up for it.

I just finished Silent Hill 4 yesterday. I loved it! I beat this wonderful game in two days, and I got the bad ending!!!!!!!! I saw Henry hanging from that friggin noose and then I realized that I pissed two days away playing the game with a strategy guide; still, I loved the game. It was great!
