Best game adapted from an anime/manga

I say it's the Hajime no Ippo games on PS2. Especially the second edition, Victorious Road and its third edition, All Stars. Not only does it bring the characers to life, but it's also a very realistic boxing simlator (with some excemption's like Hayami's shotgun move). It also features THE hardest boss ever in it's second edition with the Date Eiji vs Ricardo Martinez.

The second edition is my favorite because of the Boxer's Road mode. It is probably the deepest career mode in any sports game. In the Boxer's Road mode, you can re-create Hajime no Ippo history by enrolling in the Kamogawa gym where the main cast trains at. In the career mode, you have to decided your boxer's training and diet routine. You have to make sure he maintains his weight and everything. You can also unlock special training routines from the series like hammer pounding logs and dashing and ducking bars. I could write a book on this mode.

Another great game is Dragon Ball Z Hyper Dimension for the Super Famicon. It's just an uber awesome game, PERIOD!

The Naruto games on PS2 and GC are also great games themselves. They're both super fun.

But I think the Hajime no Ippo games on PS2 accuratley reflects a good manga story and simulates a sport like boxing in such an amazing way.

Actually, the Shuffle anime is adopted from the game, not the other way around.
