Music game genre...going strong or slowly dying?

| This is my favorite genre in all gaming. I play games like Gitaroo Man and Amplitude every day. I also love the classics like Bust-A-Groove(not the one with the bubble bobble dinosaurs...) and Samba De Amigo(I think that's right, the dancing monkey for the dreamcast). I do notice a certain weakness in sales though. Even though games like Rez and Gitaroo man are quite expensive used, they never do as well as they should in retails. I hope Guitar Hero sells well to bring this genre back to life. This is just my opinion, and I would love to see other people's opinions. |
