My school is joining the March in March in Sacramento, CA. It's a protest from about 20,000 people from different UC's and community colleges, against the propositions saying to make more budget cuts and higher unit payments. There's also a prop. saying that UC students can get into our community colleges for absolutely nothing. Not a single dime. which means loosing councelors, the EOPS.. and teachers too.. 1000's of them would be comming in because of that, and that means fewer spots for the students who have to pay fees. my opinion on this? not quite sure yet. I don't think I'll go to Sacramento.. nope.  "If one is to become a lady, one must not chew on her chopsticks!" |

i would go march for the cause if i werent in another continent. i hope those propositions are turned down.

I don't know if I want to go..I have a class when the protesters are leaving. They have 200 people signed up last I heard. I want to help, but it's all the way in sacramento gendou sweetie. :( "If one is to become a lady, one must not chew on her chopsticks!" |
