hotsprings?yea they're good for the body.if soaking in warm water made my backaches go away,then the hotspring will do wonders...but then again,i'll be too shy to go in the hotsprings when it's full of people... |

Taiwan has them too up north because of the Japanese occupation there. It's very nice and relaxing, but my clothes stank like sulfur even after I got home from US... Right around that area I was at, there was a place where the water is just outside like a lake, and people used to put eggs in there and let them heat. Technically yaiba is correct, because when I went into the men's section for public baths, there was a sign that said something like boys under 12 shouldn't go in baths or their skeleton growth might be affected. Dunno about women's section, haven't got around to asking. |

o.O...... that's a piece of fresh information for me! i've been to hotsprings before 12, but never succeeded in getting out of any of them SAFELY. either passed out or puked. so, i guess it's possible that children are not allowed for certain hotsprings. mild ones are definitely OK, though. nevertheless, for adults, hotsprings are really good for health. they're said to be able to cure illnesses & lengthen our lifespan. ...........luckily i still look normal. *sweatdrops*

Hot Springs in Japan are Good!!! You can SEE a lot from there but eventually you can't peep in the Girl's section.... :( That's too Bad.

erm,actually it's the heat that is causing it,not the spring,so hot spring/hot tub/hot bath all have the same effect
