Lacus??

| Is Lacus an ultimate coordinator too ? Why Kuruze and The chairman of PLANT keep on saying that they both are a big problem to them? They always mention Kira and Lacus together and not Kira only.. |

Lacus is a big problem to them, as the people of ZAFT will listen to her. She is a great spokes person, and someone people can look up to. She isn't as dense as she acts, and can command an army with one note. So... to sum it up: People will listen to her and follow her commands as she is very convincing and pure.

Lacus isn't the ultimate coordinator. She just a coordinator. Kira is the ultimate coordinator. Lacus is the problem for those two cos' Lacus can easily talk to the people of Plant and ZAFT. She has more power than that Gilbert.

Uhh Lacus just sings good and is a great mediator. even though Kira's the ultimate coordinator he cant access all of his powers for war and stuff bc thats not who he is. I think Lacus is like the Relena from gundam Wing in Seed/Destiny. people look up to both of them with respect.  |

@Crusader: An excelent observation, Lacus and Relena both ocupy similar roles in their respective series, in terms of serving as the effective public representative and object of the public's respectful affection. In a way, Lacus represents a continuation of Relena's development from her revelations in Endless Waltz, as person who is simultaneously opposed to war, but grudgingly accepts that she must resort to confrontation in order to avoid being cast asside by the coming conflict. @Ferphylss: Don't worry, there are plenty of people in that same boat. Goodness knows I've had enough arguments between class with other Gundam fans who are equaly grey on this subject. As specified in the series and later confirmed by the director(still looking for a specific source on the director's comments, if anyone cares to drop a line about it...), the Ultimate Coordinator project was designed as an extension to the existing coordinator program in order to eleminate certain flaws in the process. Where a normal coordinator is conceived, geneticaly altered, and then returned to the mother's womb to gestate normaly. As Rau pointedly explains, people were becoming increasingly dissapointed with certain deviations within the child's modifications which were either negated or overly modified because of conditions within the mother's womb. The purpose of the ultimate coordinator project was to completely avoid these unpredictable deviations by creating an artificial, structured environment in which the embryo could develope in ideal, stable conditions; an artificial womb. If Rau's account is to be beleived, hundereds of pre-natal fetuses died through the course of the development process, victems of the less-then-perfect environments of the artificial womb prototypes. They also likely produced a number of 'illegitimate' offspring, stillbirthed babies, living humans with severe developmental abnormalities, and, in at least one case, a 'standard' coordinator (standard in that, like other coordinators from real wombs, he had some minor deviations in his appearance because of the artificial womb's environment). Kira is the ultimate culmination of this project. His 'ultimate coordinator' status merely denotes that, unlike the vast majority of coordinators, he wound up exactly as expected. His eye and hair colour, the shape of his head, the tone of his voice, that wierd way he cries, his tallent for software development, are all exactly proportional to what was specified by his modified genes. This means, that on the one hand, Kira doesn't nessesarily have a particular, unexpected weakness, but that also implies that he probably doesn't have any exceptional hidden tallents either, which is even something the common coordinator has. This process, however, doesn't nessesarily denote Kira as being unique in ability, there is a fairly good chance that there are other coordinators born from actual wombs which have no anomylous developments. In other words, an Ultimate Coordinator is a coordinator who was born with every developmental trait exactly equal to what was specified by his modified genetic code. (Personaly, I like to think that Kira and Cagali are actualy identical twins, rather than fraternal ones. If this were the case, Cagali would be the perfect controll object, the ultimate proof of the program's success. On the one side, a natural baby, born as nature intended from the mother's womb. On the other, a coordinator, geneticaly identical, but modified and gestated within an artificial womb. The perfect example, as it were!) |

its black la..if i got time i take a snapshot of it then post it here lor And Ultimate Coordinator means coordinator being upgraded into a stronger one.To be frank with you all Kira actually has a brother which already died due to the failure of the experiment to turn him to a Ultimate Coordinator too.Frankly i like Lacus too she looks so pretty and pure looking but i like Meyrin also coz when she show her long hair its just irresistable XD and abit simmilar to Flay Alstar in SEED.Does anyone knows that Lacus also drove a Mobile Suit too?^_^ she drove the Infinite Justice back to earth with Kira to pass to MS to Athrun who has injured

@ Meyrin Hawke You mean Canard Pars? I noe he is Kira and Cagalli's brother. But he didn't die yet. He still alive in Gundam Seed Astray X. Go read the manga and you see him who is voiced by Hoshi Souchirou in the video game!! His voice is a litle wild than Kira's.

i agree they are the best in whole gundam history...and i always wondered wth is the bloody point with lacus in seed mode in the bloody eternal......seed mode in battleship = wtf?, seed mode in anything with a beam sword and laser projectiles = OMG OWNAGE
