Rin's in love with Tinkerbell and anything to do with fairy tales. She stuffs my drawer with T-bell t-shirts and I'm always having to listen to, "Oohh!!!! love your t-shirt". the answer is usually, "Thanks, but it's Miss Bells sweet ass I'm after, not yours". Only Tinks not a princess either. |

Megara from Hercules - she was so much more developed than all of the Disney princesses, and she thought for herself. Also, she was willing to take a stand herself, as well as fight for those she cared for. She doesn't waste time flitting about in a poofy dress, letting other serve her; instead, she works for what she wants, and pays up for her mistakes. Overall, I thought she was just plain awesome. [I am so excited that she's in Kingdom Hearts II! WHOO!] I also really admired Cinderella's personality in the original feature film: her modesty, her lack of vanity, her genuine care for others, as well for her.... lack of vengeful spirit. She accepted that life might not always be fair, and instead of being vengeful and equally cruel, she understood that it [pardon my French] sucked and looked for her own escapes where she could get them, be they literal or figurative. I VIOLENTLY HATE, however, the new marketing campain surrounding her - it completely defiles the original moral of the "Cinderella" tale, as well as her character. Prancing around in a poofy blue gown in each of the new toys and "Disney Princess Collection" videos, she's teaching children to strive for "princess" lifestyle, focus on appearences, and preach to every little girl that a magical force will come along and take away everything that she doens't like, and she'll live happily ever after. Things like this make me utterly loathe capitalism, in spite of my ever-growing, continually tear-jerking love for Disney movies and Disney World. Also! @firemiste: Anastasia is not a Disney film; it was produced by 20th Century Fox. |

Defintly a Rin type of person and now that you have wreitten it down your first sentence describes her as well. The two of us don't like the marketing of the new Disney Princesses either. My question Aeva is do you try to be like to be like that. Kind, gentle and understanding? My fav disney girlsa are Snow White, Wendy and Alice. Well 2/3 are commoners but Rin isn't and she's my princess. Love Rin Love Rin Love Rin Love Rin Love Rin Love Rin Love Rin Love Rin Love Rin |
