hey Gendou i was wondering how to pronounce yur name. is it: a. gen-dow b.gen-doo c. jen-dow d.jen-doo and is that yur last name or just something u thought up off the top of yur head?

Not nowing the proper pronunciation symbols I can't make it properly, but A is sound-spelled correctly. It's from Neon Genesis Evangelion, namely Ikari Gendou. Leader of a organization called nerve. Follow the link to get some info on it. |

I've always prounounced it Gen-dow, hard g, dow as in dowry, but that's just me. Gainax's website romanizes it as Gendoh, so there isn't quite an official way to spell it either. The katakana used to write it (ゲンドウ) is romanized as Gendou (ゲ-Ge ン-n ド-do ウ-u) when using the accepted romanization. |
