question about Walking Through the Empty Age

In this song, the music stops ringing at about 4:55, but it goes to 5:14. Right before it stops, there's been no remnants of music for at least 10 seconds, a guy just says "hey." What's up with this? It's freaky, and if I put it on a CD, I just want to end of this song to be normal. What's going on?
