HOw are you supposed to arrange a marriage? To simplify things (or maybe complicate them) let's take an American wedding for example. From all the movies made about love, how is everything supposed to be arranged? Like invitations and practising everything. Is there really a Wedding Planner (anyone seen that movie with J. Lo?) Then how are you supposed to arrange a funeral? To simply things (or maybe complicate them) how do you arrange a funeral in America? Like who to call (to arrange, not who to come). I know different cultures differ about these things, but I still want to know. So whatever anyone knows, please comment! No, I'm no getting married nor did someone die recently... I'm just curious... |

I'd suppose you'd contact a church for a wedding and a funeral home for a funeral. |

I know something about arranging a marriage but it is something different. One example is in China, where kids as young as toddlers are arranged with someone (also a kid) with the opposite sex. When they grow up, they are forced to be husband and wife. It is what I know about arranged marriage. |

very simple, let someone else do it. About that Chinese-Toddlers thing: I know that was usual long ago. But does this kind of arranging still happens? (For example: parents arrange kids marriage) |

Certain very small sects may perhaps arrange marriages. As far as planning a wedding, yes, there are such things as wedding planners, but usually that title is bestowed upon the bride. I have no true experience in such a matter, as I've never been close to anyone, let alone married. As to funerals, a funeral home should have all the answers. |

There are wedding planners and there are funeral home directors. You can do all the arranging yourself, though. |
