Hey everyone, I love movies! I was hoping to see if anyone has recently seen anything good or even bad lately and would be interested in talking about it. I'd be very interested to know, even though movie quality has been declining as of late. Movies to watch out for: 1.Xmen 3: The Last Stand 2.The DaVinci Code 3.The Bourne Ultimatum 4.Superman Returns 5.Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest |

The Weather Man was supposed to be pretty good, I never got a chance to see it, but I wanted to. Nicholas Cage has an interesting acting style. BTW, anyone seen Sin City? I loved Sin City, such a cool film. |

When does Spiderman 3 come out?? I don't understand why Gambit's not in X:3!! Try visiting the foreign section in your video rental for different ideas as to movies. Try Jean Reno for French. Try Unleashed. Try A Beautiful Mind. The Longest Yard for laughs. Mystic River. Lots and lots. |

I recently watched Final Destination(old movie) and thought it was pretty good, seeing how scary movies of today have declined. It urks me that the trailer for the movie "When a Starnger Calls" gives away the part that is supposed to shock you. |

Final Destination has a cool step by step aspect to it that I liked, although I always wondered why if death was after a bunch of inept teens, it didn't just kill them easily? Apart from that, though, it was funny in a sadistic way, especially the part when the teahcer gets her throat slit, and still stumbles over and gets impaled by about six knives and finally gets blown up all in one smooth scene. When a Stranger Calls was a crappy film, made me wonder why exactly it was number 1 in the box office. "Oh my, the killer's in the house!" Really, that's the big surprise! Spiderman 3 comes out early next year. So does Sin City 2. Gambit might or might not be in X3, chances are that he might just be in a cameo if he is in it. It is the last Xmen movie, so I really hope he's there. Jean Reno is one of my favorite actors. I saw Mystic River, it had a really perfect ending! BTW, every single superhero you can think of is getting a movie of their own! Just name one. |

Well, I'm watching "The Shining" right now and it's weird....O_o...."Corpse Bride" and "Nightmare Before Christmas" are awesome!! I strongly recommend them... ^__^ I liked the part in "When a Stranger Calls" where the babysitter person for SO MUCH of the film answers a phone that looks SO outdated. ^__^ If you have that much money why keep a phone like that? There are wall phones and models like it with caller ID....I mean, they spend so much on the overall security system...Upgrade the phones-ALL the phones!!...^____^ |

I like FD movies. X3 is gonna be the last and best one I think! BTW, Spiderman 3 is gonna have Venom and Dark Spidey! I saw "Memoirs of a Geisha". It was pretty good, although kinda boring at times as you said...I like Zhang Ziyi though, all her movies are cool... This weekend, "Ultraviolet" is coming out, I wanna see that. Also I wanna see "Running Scared" |

I heard the reason Gambit isn't in the X-Men movies was because they made Rouge way too young compared to the comics/old cartoon. If they put him in there and didn't hook him up with Rouge then there might be even more angry fans than when they first decided to leave him out. Sin City was freakin awesome. Memoirs of a Geshia was a very beautiful movie. It was weird being one of the youngest members in the theatre at the time though. ^^; The last movie that I've seen is Proof. It's based off of a play and Anthony Hopkins does a very good job in playing his part (but it's rare when he doesn't). The dialouge is a bit playish as well as the daughter. The ending was a bit abrupt. I enjoyed it, but the people around me thought it was dry. Personally I would love to see Sin City 2, and X3... and a sequal to Batman Begins which isn't coming out until 2008 (boo). |

I enjoyed 'Memoirs of a Geshia', the book was good too. Me and my friends are going to see 'Silent Hill' in April. I'm also getting 'Final Fantasy: Advent Children', if it doesn't get delayed. Kittykat is right, I saw 'When a Stranger Calls' and I thought it was garbage. |

Working at Hastings made me pick up a lot of movies. I get a lot of feedback as well. Ones that I really liked that are fairly new are Corpse Bride, Yours, Mine, and Ours(yes it's kind of cheesy, but it was still funny), and Waiting(it was ok, but the end was disappointing). Of course there are still some bad ones to rent and to watch at the theaters. Sorry if I offend anyone but I just couldn't stand Underworld 2, Unleashed, and Dirty Love. I'll list the reasons. ^_^ Underworld 2- You know EXACTLY what is going to happen next. I'm not going to spoil anything, but you watch a dramatic scene and go, yup and now this is going to happen. 2 minutes later it happens... Unleashed- It was just a garbage story. Like I said, I'm sorry if I offend anyone, but it was such a horrible story. Don't get me wrong I like Jet Li and a lot of his older films. Dirty Love- It was just too boring. Yeah, after describing things to customers I get accustomed to write things like that. Oh yeah, Saw 2 was a great movie. I love how everything fit right into place. It really made you think. |

X3 - From what I understand, this is the final film in this particular franchise. The intent was for it to be a trilogy. I have no idea why they couldn't find some way to put Gambit in it. It seems rather thick to me. V for Vendetta - I want to know a lot more about this movie, will check the IMDB later on. From what I can tell, it looks like a badass superhero movie. Then again, The League of Extrodinary Gentlemen also looked that badass, and it was slightly less than so (still damn good, though). Unleashed - I want to see this movie, but if it has a bad storyline, I'll probably be more apprehensive. The concept didn't seem to be very inviting, in the first place, but my reason for watching it wouldn't be for Jet Li, but for Bob Hoskins. I kinda like that actor. I first saw him in Mario Brothers :P. Superman Returns - *sighs* I hate Superman, I just don't like the concept. I would, however, see this movie on the pure basis that Kevin Spacey is in it, and is playing Lex Luthor. If I even get a rumor that this is based on Smallville, I'm ignoring this movie completely. Movie Rumors - Plans have begun on the next installment on the Batman movie, but there's absolutely no information on it at all (at least when I last checked). I have also seen that they are making a Jurassic Park IV: The Extinction... *sighs* They were fucked up from II, so what's the point? Apparantly a lot of people didn't read the books (both of them). It's a good concept, but it was already really low by the third movie. |

I'm a fan of the X-Men series. The X-Men 2 left me hanging and I'm looking forward to watch the last installment. Aside from X-Men, the third Final Destination Movie was out a month ago here in our place but I haven't watched it yet >_< I also like its last two movies... DaVinci Code sounds good to me. Hope I can enjoy this movie as much as I enjoyed the book. |

I heard Aeon Flux sucked, big surprise....Ultraviolet sucked too... Silent Hill is out in April, it might be interesting. It's about a mother (Rose) trying to find her daughter in the town of Silent Hill... The Dead or Alive movie is out in August. There are practically no men and Kasumi is played by Devon Aoki from Sin City. I agree with the JP thing, it really went downhill after a point..but it won't be out till after Indiana Jones 4 anyway. James Cameron is making a Battle Angel Alita movie. Some other new movies this year are: Halo, Gladiator 2, TinTin, Scary Movie 4, A Scanner Darkly, The DaVinci Code, Apocalypto, World Trade Center, and Die Hard 4. |
