I'd like to know if anyone can recommend some good battle music. It can be anything but it would be preferable if they didn't have lyrics...

Mai HiME OST has quite a few awsome battle scores as does Rozen Maiden/traumend as well as SnF, in my opinion anyways.

I'm actually looking for two battle themes, from DBZ strange as it is, the theme that you hear when captain Ginyu changes bodies and the other is like one of vegita's themes when he uses final flash for the first time. If anyone can help me with these I'd appriciate it.

Favorite battle music I know the titles to, Soultaker, Perfect night from Trigun, any theme although it's a video game from Guilty Gear (No mercy, Holy orders, Alone in the dark etc.)and that applies to Devil May Cry 3 too (all of it especially devil's never cry), I know they're games but they're damn good.

Hi, i'm Ryudo Tatsuhiko, the Bôkenya. I'm searching for a song... I don't know the name... This song is from Saber Marionette J, and appears when a battle is begining. This song is great because has an incredible sound of an electrical guitar. If someone knows the name of this song, please contact me. I'd like to download this song. My mail is archangelgod814@hotmail.com.

If you want to send me a mail with information about this song, please put "Saber J Song Information" in the title of the mail, because i don't read the mails from unknoun people.

Thanks.

Ryudo.

With the Will from Digimon Frontier. It's really cool, but there are words. There is actually a symphonic-sounding song that sounds just like it without words... prolly gotta find it on the DigiFrontier OST or something.

Dakaisaku - Shaman King
Like a Storm - Inu Yasha
Youkai Sesshoumaru - Inu Yasha

all lyrics-less

Warera Shichinntai - Inu Yasha
Epistle - Escaflowne
Black Escaflowne - Escaflowne

There's some choirs in the background, but technically they're also lyrics-less ;)

My favorite so far is Tactics from Witch Hunter Robin, I put a request in on here, but it has yet to be answered.

It has a very good beat and sets exactly the right pace.

Ok, I actually happen to prefer battle songs from games (I collect game music), but I was thinking anime, so I held back.

OWA - FF7, damned nice battle music, not to mention the lyrics are in Latin. Damned nice.

Legends of Dragoon - At least the boss themes, the battles were decent, but the boss themes were pretty cool.

Skies of Arcadia - My favorite battle music from that is "Armada Battle", which isn't found on bluelaguna.net, but here. Eh, site's in French, but the listings are in English. "Armada Battle" is on CD2.

Tales of Symphonia - Check bluelaguna.net, this game has about 6-7 boss themes, and a couple of battle themes, all sweet.

I agree that there are a lot from Rurouni Kenshin. I love that Anime both for the story and the music - which is on the classical/orchestral note! =) You might want to try the first OVA's OST (since the music from the TV episodes have been mentioned)

For a more "modern" flavor, you might like the OST from Get Backers. Particularly "Electric Shock", "Obsession II", and "The Battle in the Warship Islet". If I'm not mistaken, these were composed by Taku Iwasaki - who incidentally wrote music for Rurouni Kenshin as well.... (unless I remember it wrong)
