C.E was Bandai's way of trying to redo the UC series for the 21st Century viewers. The orginal Gundam SEED was....an interesting remake...SEED Destiny fell short of being good and original though unfortunately. Gundam ZZ was probably the poorest UC series...and F-91 should have been a series...(cramming a 26 episode plot in a 2 hour movie is hard...and F-91 despite it being pretty good, suffered quite a bit because of Bandai's sudden change to making it a movie feature.) I think all the new SEED fans, should at least watch some of the UC series to see what started the whole Gundam craze. |

I watched some of the other Gundam Series like Turn A gundam and Wing and 2.,4., 5.,7 was the movie right about Red Comet?, and some of the others but most of the old stuff doesn't interest me. I think gundam fans should watch what theyre interested in not wat theyre told to watch tho. Ive played all the games/ read all the mangas/ most of the movies/ some of the series/ and collected almost all the mobile suit models does that make me a hardcore fan or someone who admires the gundam fad?  |

| I have seen every Gundam series except V Gundam, but I have read the manga. The Universial Century deals more with the horrors of war, and the effects war has on all the characters of each series. The whole concept of Newtypes is just a ploy to show the darker side of humanity as oldtypes covet the ablities of Newtypes to the point where they discriminant against them, and how Newtypes consider them superior to the rest of humanity. I like every gundam series I've seen because each deal with the same central themes-War is bad, and the ideals of that some spit put only lead to suffering (i.e. Zeon's belief that Spacnoids & Newtypes are the next level of human evolution). |
