Songs that don't fit the anime

Another question that's been bugging me. I tried a search but didn't come up with anything. What songs in anime don't really seem to fit with the anime itself? My picks are: 1. Aishuu no Bolero Shokusu no ne (The Bolero of Regret, from Excel Saga) - this incredibly depressing song at the end of every episode of Excel Saga doesn't really seem to fit in with the craziness of the rest of the show. 2. All My Love (from Rikujou Boueitai Mao-chan [Ground Defense Force Mao-Chan]) - this song about everlasting love doesn't really seem to fit the anime it's from. Rikujou Boueitai Mao-chan is about cute little girls defending Japan from cute little aliens. 3. Aishitene Motto (from Tenjho Tenge) - this song about love really doesn't fit that well with the anime, which is very violent martial arts action. Perhaps if the anime had stayed more faithful to the manga, it might have worked.... So what are your picks?  My Avatar, |

Sorry to disagree but The Bolero of Regret fit Excel Saga Perfectly. Consider it was about being eaten and sung by the dog.
This requires a unique combination of
psychology...and extreme violence.

The last opening to GSD, Wings of Words.... Why that dumb song is the opening? I hate that song so much!!! Too slow!!

I have to disagree with you, Doctor. Even though the mention Menchi being used as a reserve food source for Excel, the slow, depressing tune just does not fit with the rest of the wild, crazy anime. My Avatar, |

definately is Wings of Words!!! what a weird song-.-... totally doesn't fit as GSD OP...I'm so dissapointed with it...  |

But Guamp, remember the song is about Menchi who was a sullen and depressed charater. Even if the song didn't fit with the action of the show it fit with the character as established in the show.

I don't really like the opening themes for GS Destiny. To me, the songs doesn't really fit the anime.
