Rozen Maiden opening... Need some clarification

My first post in here~

好いてもいい ... 好きといって... What does this line mean? In Ayu subs, they translate it as I don't mind being loved... Say that you loved me. Is this correct? Because someone said that the first line should be: It is ok to say you love me.

Their transliteration of the japanese was incorrect:
罪でもいい ... 好きといって...
tsumi de mo ii ... suki to itte ...
"Even if it is a sin ... say you love me ..." is how I would translate it.
