How long does it take for a student to finish university studies in Japan? Or, does it depend on his/her course? Thanks! |

Usually 4 years, but it depends if you get accepted to a university. Most students finish high school by the time they are 18. During the time of high school we try to get ready for the entrance exam so it's nothing but benkyo all day. (study) If you're lucky to get into a university you'd probably be finished by the time you are 22. Not unless you want to continue. It's really hard getting into a university that's why some students decides to study abroad and go to America. The credits they get from college will transfer to the university in Japan.  |
