Is hellsing any good, I have'nt seen it yet and I wonder if it is worth my time. |

| Hellsing is my all time favorite anime, except for maybe Dual...... but Hellsing is definately worth your time, trust me..... |

| well you see, they left it open for a second season so thats why its hard to understand at the end, they really need to start on that second season... i would be happy |

no, the original author of the manga said the series got "too dark" and wont let them continue making it.

| sadly...... it was my favorite series....... although i dont see how it was "too dark", its a heck of a lot less depressing than other things.... although there was a lot of gore.... |

go buy it. you wont regret it ^_^ oh ya, it's manga is too cool! saw some scans of it. the art was wicked! no second season cuz it's too dark? o.0 reeeeaaaallly! they should reconsider |

I recommend it aswell. For people who like vampires and alot of gore that is. I'm a huge fan of almost any kind of any so i tried the manga and liked it alot. I realized there was an anime and bought the first DVD. Now im obsessed with it lol.

The ova has lots of rummers around it. The most common & atleast half way true ones are: 1) It's a remake of the orginal series 2) It's colser to the manga 3) It's going to be a longer series than the orginal But I know fist hand that: 1) It is released around Dec. 13 of this year 2) It has NO sub titles, so you have to what for it to be lissened or wait for a fan-sub group to sub it. 3) The art work is different (Kind of like the Inuyasha tv series vs. Inuyasha movies in art work) I can't wait for a fan-sub group to subb it. I was sooo happy when I found out the ova rummers where true, then only to find out once I found the DVD to buy that there where no subs. From the longer perview my anime club showed & the shorter on the website I found the ova for sale. The action in the perview looks more horror & alsome fighting then what was in the last episodes of the orginal series. That's what I think. I & if the perviews are showing what the whole series is like. It looks like it will be more darker. So are you guys sure that the author stoped it b/c it was 'too dark'? B/c the perviews are way darker than the orginal series.

if the OVA is really closer to the manga.....oh damn. now that'd be nice. I have to be honest....the anime's story kinda sucked....the whole story arc with Incognito or whatever seemed kinda....um...just unlikeable. I am a HUGE fan of the manga however as it was brought out the way the creator, Kohta Hirano, wanted it to be. Simply put....if the anime had the mangas story line.....it'd probably one of if not the greatest anime of all time (action wise, thats my opinion though). Well i have my hope's up for this one....im going to watch it (i know a fansub group will pick it up.....its BIG)
