Characters who lost out on happiness in the end?

Do you have a list of anime characters that have lost out on true love, happiness etc? Some characters that come to mind are: Sochie Hiem from Turn A Gundam-Lorrain and she shoould have ended up together. Athrun Zala from Gundam Seed Destiny-Cagalli leaves him, and all he get is jail bait. Kaede from Shuffle! she seems like the only girl in the series that never had a chance with Rin. Sakurai from Suzuka-she was the perfect girlfriend for Yamato, but he could never shake the feelings he had for Suzuka. All the ladies from Magister Magi Negima-why they all fell for Negi -sensei, who knows? And the ways things are going on Naruto-Hinata may end up never realizing her fantasy of becoming Naruto-kun's wife. |

Oh, plenty! Meer Campbell from Gundam Seed Destiny - Even though she tried to find her perfect ending because she really liked Athrun, she knew she wasn't the one for him and died helping Lacus. Seta Soujiro from Rurouni Kenshin - He never experienced love, so he followed Shishio's 'the strong live and the weak die' thing to survive his family's abuse. Natarle Bagduriel from Gundam Seed - She died honorably, but before she ever had any opportunity to let love interrupt her work ;_; Hitsugaya Toushiro from Bleach - He loves Hinamori so much, but she's not being very smart about herself, and the time that she really makes a big mistake, he ends up blaming himself for the whole thing. Can't think of anything else after this... |
