I love Chobits, I've read the whole manga. It was so sad, I cried thoughout the whole last two volumes, and I usually don't cry in anime/manga. ;_; I've only seen a little of the anime, but it's beautiful. The story seems to stray a lot from the manga, though.

oh me! i love chobits! ive seen the whole series in anime jap and i have read all the manga.. well i own all the manga. but i cryed also! i went 2 an anime convention as chii in her work outfit. i want 2 go as chii again in the pink dress ms hibiya gave her ^-^

Aww! My friend should be cosplaying as Yumi Ueda at a con we're going to in January. If she and her mom can't finish the costume in time, she's going to be Kyo in half-human half-cat from Furuba. XD

Well, it's hard to explain how it ends if you don't know some of the characters/preceeding events. Do you know Dark Chii and Miss Hibiya yet? If so, I might be able to explain.

| I've read the first 4 volumes that some kid at school had. :P And I've seen like 3 episodes in the middle of the anime around where the fourth volume ends.It seems to be a real cute anime/manga and I'd like to get a hold of whatever volumes of the manga are left that I haven't read yet. |

This is realy interesting, but somebody know about the last episode of Chobits? it calls Chibits and have nothing to do whit the history. Is just an extra episode, but its really funny (sorry if I spell wrong) SHIRO!! |

cool! i lyk this esp. the episode where shinbo (is it ryt? the hiromo guy?) and his teacher eloped and the time that chii bought undies and books...so cool...lyk this anime but i haven't read the manga yet....so so sad...
...If loving him is wrong then i don't want to be right...

I'm not a huge fan of Chobits, but I enjoyed the series. I really like Dark Chi the most. Hmmm....don't have a lot to say about the anime, but I can say that the music is awesome. The opening is really cute. ^_^  |

It's strange. At times, I despise this anime (well, I haven't read the manga and I only watch the anime because it happens to be on demand for free). And, at other times, I think it's...alright-tolerable, at least. The thing that annoys me the most is that Chii is rather annoying: Her voice, her actions, the way she swoons over Hideki...I don't know, maybe the anime isn't as good as the manga or something like that. But another thing that grates on my nerves is the fact that pretty much all persacoms are women. It just instigates the old sexist stereo-type. I mean, even Minoru's persacoms are clad in lingerie while they sit along a table and work on researching information. Honestly! |

Well, the fact that most persocoms in chobits are women stem from the fact that men are the ones who are truly in need of persocoms' help, so I guess you can say that the real women in Chobits are pretty strong, independent, and empowered by this fact... And about this "last episode", is this an OVA by any chance, because I haven't seen it yet... -_-' |

chobits is great I own them all and I do wonder about that sometimes (why are most of them women?)there are only about six guys in the entire eight manga and I cant remember how many there are in the dvd" but that o.k. Clamp write such wonderful stories.

| It may be one of the few series where the anime was better than the manga series. I sincerly like the story, however, it jumps around a little to much for my taste and it kinda strays from the point of the story. What I DO like though, is the giant tie in with Angelic Layer. With that in place, it becomes a two part story discussing all possibilities of human form robots. I like it a lot. Its strangly refreshing from the typical idea of either robots replacing humans (Bubblegum Crisis/appleseed) or military robots rebelling against humans. I really hope that there is enough love in the world to allow us to cherish them, should they ever become identical to humans. It would give me hope in this world. |
