Favorite Genre

i would like to know what is your favorite genre for anime is and why that genre stands out for you. mine would be comedy-romances they are very funny because of the situations the characters put themselves in and it touches me on an emotional level. note only pick one (comination genres count as one - ie:the genre i put)  |

i would pick comedy-action-adventure(does that count as one?^_^)..i actually watch all sorts of genre as long as the series is good but i'm more into the ones wth some action n a real good laugh.   |

My favorite Genre for animes are: Mecha adventure, with some comedy, with a little of romance. Hmm? Did I just said the result matched VANDREAD? It also matched The Extremne Team, I like the anime because of its effects and very comedic! So this is the one I liked.

Horror, mixed with Comedy and little Drama is my favourite, like Elfen Lied. Not too much Action. And no Mecha. |

I'm a huge fan of the romance/drama OR romance/comedy or all 3 in one (and usually involves school life). So it's not surprising if you follow my posts, most are about Fruits Basket, School Rumble, or Kare Kano. Also the sad/depressing ones like Saikano fit my bill. KGNE was a killer when I first watched it, so I needed a comedy to watch right after to heal, and it was Ultra Maniac TV (and it was successful). I don't mind the echhi, a lot of comedies use it, but if it's excessive it's too distracting. why that genre stands out for you I loved school, especially during the "teenager" years. When I watch anime that involves school life I can relate to them and go "Yeah I was a loner like him", or "Yeah I got rejected by a girl like that." I'm not sure why I like to watch romances by I like to see the drama, the situations the characters face and how they deal with them. By the end of the show I can grasp their characters and see how they have matured. Yeah I like mecha, mainly Gundam simply because building the kits are one of my hobbies. I'm probably more fascinated by the mobile suits more than the show but some have great storylines so it's a bonus! |

I like some drama and mystery, with a deeper side too ^__^ because I like storylines that make me think a bit afterward... On the other hand, I like action alot because if it's animated well it's awesome to watch!! |

I tend to prefer the comedy/ecchi animes. However, I'm not going to reject seeing an anime because it's not in that genre. If it's well done, I'll watch it. Some of my favorite animes aren't in that genre.  My Avatar, |

well i like a mixture of genres. i tend to prefer drama and action/adventure with a hint of romance~!

i'm usually fond of romantic comedies. and i wouldn't mind if there was some fantasy and/or action thrown into it.     |

Love mecha, but only a select few Fantasy, since FFU Comedy, normally stuff that makes me fall out of my seat with laughter Action/Adventure work as well at times.

shounen and shounen ai. i tend to dislike shoujo but i make a few exceptions for DNAngel manga and Azu Manga Diaoh(becuz it's so funny)etc. More of a action fan, likes seeing blood and gore, but it has to be the right colour and drawn properly(unlike the black jack movie and elfen lied). Can hardly stand any romance, except for slash

Mostly anything action, or sci-fi/action, such as Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Hellsing, Silent Mobius, ect. I also enjoy comedies such as FLCL.  |
