Ever have this feeling?

When an anime or manga u like was about to end.....here comes the sadness even though the story is not tragedic..... The last manga which made me feel like this is Hikaru no Go and for anime it's Fullmetal Alchemist. The ending of Hikaru no Go is just too....you know like dreams do not come true.....but Fullmetal Alchemist wasn't tragic~!!And I cried even when I'm going to bed coz I can't stop thinking it. Please forgive my low EQ. |

| i know how u feel hikaru no go was sad anime ive seen maybe almost every type of anime and title and if i feel like that all the time then i cant watch more but if u think like that then just remind ur self u can make an ulternate ending to everything LOL |

I know how you feel FYER. It's sad to see your favourate anime/manga series end because you get so attach to the characters. It is as if thought you loss some friends when the series ends. But what I do to try and cheer me up is either re-watch the whole series again or find some fan fictions online related to the series.  |

i have felt that kind of feeling too...i some kind of a 'lost' feeling...but got over it in maybe...two or three day...hehehe...^^

My first feeling like that was Digimon...I know it's sort of young-ish, but still it was the first anime I saw the end of (season 2) and it was AWFUL....What was I supposed to do every afternoon?!...And everyone else thought I was crazy^^.... And when Samurai Champloo ended...and Paranoia Agent...and Millenium Actress...and lots others... Just what HAPPENS to them later??............. Just an empty feeling for a while... ... Now I feel a little sad....:( |

| Umm... Never... I usually feel sad when the story goes dramatic. But I do feel dissapointed whenever an anime or manga I watched ends |

| Yes, I felt it when I watchet the last episode of Azumanga Daioh. I thought "man, it's gonna end, the fun is gonna end." I felt sad. I wish the episodes could last longer. |

yea i know what you mean. For almost every anime for me i always feel sad even though it wasn't that sad. It even happens an episode or two before the end  |

yeah. when ever you watch an anime that has not been contiuned you felt sad. but there will be another anime waiting for you. like chrno crusade through i seen his final episode i am not really pleased. but when i watch azumanga daioh i felt happy because at least they are showing us a good ending.

Yeah...I felt like that in Hikaru no Go too...the middle when Sai disappeared and Hikaru went looking for him was really sad too. :( |

I felt that indeed... Maybe that happens because we grow to like the characters then finally when the end comes, we felt like "there's not going to be a new story about them again"... Well, you can call that "separation", and that's sad... :P I felt that way when i watched Midori no hibi, and Mai-otome... Hehe, but there's no such feeling like that when i was watching the end of evangelion... Maybe because i'm too confused...-_- |

I have empty feelings sometimes on Anime. Sometimes its on the very first few episodes like Boogiepop Phantom. That anime did not scare me but gave me an empty feeling inside becaue the anime is horrible... (don't take it to offence ^_^)

I feel kind of sad when a series ends. But then I can just go buy the DVDs/manga and watch/read it all over again as many times as I like.^^ ~ S.A. |

@ kittykat: OMG, I felt the same way about Digimon too!! LOL. I feel like that with every anime and manga ^_^ But after a few days, I'm good. Oh! And fan fiction definatly helps.   |

I have had that feeling a few times watching anime, but I remember getting sad with Love Hina when it ended... but no feeling like that can be compared with the one I felt watching the end of evangelion. I almost cried because it ended.   |
