soo, who watches Yakitate!! Japan? i've watched a few episodes, and after, i finally understood that solar hands are actually hands with hot palms.. ü and, this heat supposedly helps in the fermentation of the bread and stuff. anyone mind explaining this to me..? coz, you see.. i've got palms whose temperature are above average too.. i'm serious..! some people won't even let me touch them especially when it's hot since, my palms are so warm.. ü ye~!! solar hands.. ^_^ m y . ok well, i'm not an expert or anything but i'll try, the yeast in the dough needs heat and food(sugar) to work. the yeast by itself is dormant(asleep) and the heat "wakes them up". so i guess it helps but i'm not really sure myself. but i hope i answered your question. |

(If you watch more of the series you'll understand better) The heat just allows the yeast to grow and expand faster than normal.

whats the diff. between solar hands and gauntlets? |
Re:

ok well someone correct me if i'm wrong but to acquire Solar Hands you must be born with it. Solar Gauntless anyone can acquire by working out the muscles in your arms. the more muscle means more blood flowing through your arms and hands which leads to warmer hands. |

@Shuiyin Hai! that's correct. to put it in more simpler ways, solar hands are natural, solar gauntlets are man-made. :) @rin yes! i watch yakitate japan!!!! i got so upset when it ended last friday. ~.~' the ending was a bit rushed. it was still fun though. everyone got together again. i was surprised to know that it wasn't mr. kirisaki (owner of st. pierre) who battled kazuma in the end. oh well. you know yakitate japan; so unpredictable. :) |

I agree that the end was a bit rushed; however, it still entertaining. How about Kai Suwabara; he has solar hands or solar gauntless? |
Re:

Really? Wow... Never met someone who actually have hands that are warmer than average...

Hi minna-san, gokigenyo~ Me and my bro were fasinated with Yakitate's humor :D Eto, just last week our mommy bought an automatic bread making machine, all you have to do is add all the ingredients into the mixing mold and wait 2 hrs then the bread will be ready. We brought some bread to share our neighbours, they asked where did we bought the bread, we replied: Because of our solar hands, we're able to make such fluffy and delicious bread XD "HUSO"
