Why don't animals like music?

Animals can hear right, so why do my cats dislike it when I play music on the stereo? If these animals have such great hearing then why don't they enjoy this music? Do animals actually have a taste for music or are their brains messed up so they can't enjoy it. So how do I get my cats to enjoy listening to anime music?  Jomunga eats your avatars. |

Lol cats like to MEow at night maybe you should record it and play it to it LOL... Cats like anime Heck no......the animals brain is different than a human's.  |

it's not entirely true.. animals do like music! but not all tough.. but some humans also don't like music.. a recent test shows that some types of music can have a soothing affect on animals and makes them calm. for instance classical music ^^ some hight piched tones can be very uncomfertable for animals who have a great sense of hearing, that axplains why your cat dislikes some you your music.. maybe you should try music that has no hight pinched tones in it.. good luck! :P

ummm...guys animals are born in the nature so they obviously don't like music when someone's singing to it, maybe they just think the wind is some kinda music,or the rain. Oh ans maybe cats would like that triangle thingie you know the one that you hit the triangel with some stick. |

Yea, it's definitely true about animals liking some music. When I was younger, I used to play the piano, and my family's dog would always come in and listen. Cats would probably like piano too. Just a guess though... I'm not really a cat person. |
