Missed School

| This happen to me a while ago.School had just started up and my eyes started irrating me. I went to the doctor and he told me I have pink eye. I was home for two weeks. When I finally went back to school I was so far behind that I realize that I would not be able to cacth up no matter what I did. SO for this weekend I have to do a total effort of a months work in three days. If not I will have to make up the classes that I missed. Has anything simalar ever happen to anyone ? |

Ya. I was at collage and I started to feel REALLY nauseous, so I ran to the bathroom and started throwing up the red stuff (blood), I was too dizzy to drive home right away, but after a little resting in my car I went home and didnt go back for about 2 weeks. More my own idea than a doctors, so I guess this isnt as similar as I thought at first. Still sucked though.
Cursed are those who seek with bias. Abandon your past and be saved.

Once I was sick with some kind of virus on a Sunday right before school started and I had to stay home with my mother for like two weeks. When I went to school I was really behind but being the good student I am I really didn't have to do much to catch up all the work. They gave me small worksheets and i finished and aced them all.
everything is forever...

had some accident when i was in preparatory school. in high school i missed classes for almost a month because of an epidemic caused by mosquito bites. i never felt then that i had been very lucky i had lived because i really never thought about dying during the confinement. but indeed, i was very lucky since many young filipinos infected by it had died, one of them was a neighbor. in college, i also missed school for couple of days because of frequent colds and high fever or flu and then asthma. sometimes i intentionally missed classes because i don't feel like going to school especially whenever i only have lone subject for the day, which most often last for an hour and a half or three hours the longest. i travel almost four hours and more with heavy traffic in the city going to school and then back home, meaning i have to stay on the road longer than in school. that didn't motivate me to attend a class. surprisingly, i had never felt left behind during classes. i always catch up and advancing had never been a problem until i went to college when academic subjects and studying got really boring day after day.  |

| Nope... Fortunately I always in great health and I maybe missed from school one or two days whenever I felt sick... |

Well, it happened when i was in my 5th grade... I'm hospitalized for more than one month because of typhoid... well, it's only my 5th grade so catching up to the lesson was pretty easy. While in my friend's case... In his 10th grade he missed almost a half of his first semester thanks to typhoid again... amazingly he can graduate with good marks - even better than mine - despite his condition... God bless him |

| the most, i only missed one day of school, since i was coughing like a maniac, and my teacher sent me to the nurse, and i had to go home. |

I havn't missed a day of school for over five years. I very rarely get sick(Not that I think it's a good thing, sometimes I just don't want to go to school, or I wish I was sick.) I have missed school for other reasons. The entire school had to be evacuated at the start of second period(happened a couple of months ago actually) we had to be sent home because there was a bomb threat. In grade 5 I missed three days becuase I was cut across my back pretty badly(I can't really explain what happened).    |

Really close incident actually. A small cable snapped and struck me across the back. It was set up for construction of some sort. Had to be rushed to the hospital, it wasn't really that serious though.^_^ |

IM in my 2 last years of collage and I had to take a class over, beacous of a genetic blood condition I was born with, IT causes intence pain. TAKE it from me none of you should wish to get sick, you would know that if you were born with a diseas.

Hmm.. I got chicken pox two weeks before the final exam.. but then i got tons of homeworks for 3 days or so.. -___-' |

I 'missed' school this past Friday, after the ninth grade went to a Hershey Park Trip (it was fun btw, but not completely, it rained like crazy, twice too!!). Since 7th grade, I've only been sick 2-days. But in elementary school, one grade (I forget), I was out for 10days..straight, but now im much stronger then back then!!
