if we watch anime, of course there is an ending, opening, or insert song.. well, it's sure in japan languange, for those who not understand japanese, do you always search the meaning of the lyrics??? and why???  |

I only look for lyrics when the song is especially good. By that I mean the point where I want to record my own version of the song.

I do search for the lyrics, both japanese and english. Since i sont understand japanese that well, i want to know what the song means but it doesnt mean i prefer the english over the japanese version. I never did, and never will.    |

| Not so much the opening and ending because normally the shows I watch have a translation on the screen and that's good enough for me. However if I really like songs throughout the show I'll probably be found surfing the net trying to find the lyrics just so when I listen to it I can tell my bf the meaning so he doesn't cry out they are secretly cursing us or some crap like that. (I swear he just doesn't understand sometimes.) |

i do not even look for their english translation. i love them raw that even if i don't understand a thing i'd still say they're bunch of good songs especially the opening and ending songs from naruto. i just like singing them in japanese, the english translation would only make me realize that some are not written well. and even if i would have the english translation, i wouldn't be able to tell the real meaning behind an anime song less i learn to understand nihonggo and the japanese culture.  |

| for me, i search for lyrics meaning only when i like the song first. i thought that if you know what you are listening to, you feel more closer to the song. lol! |

umm i get the lyrics for most of the songs i listen to becuz its just fun to sing along too..plus then i can memorize them and just randomly play it in my head. ^^ and i use songs in my fanfictions sometimes
