are u saying that what will i do if the anime that put blood On my hand appears on tv? if that's what ur saying then probably, i'll be angry but it depends on the situation really. If u liked the blood on ur hands then of course u'll be happy but if the blood is filthy or something, i'll probably crush the tv station that aired it. (Did my answer have a connection with ur question? i don't really get it. Sorry!)

I believe he means some anime he bought is now airing on tv and now he wishes he saved his money. At least thats what I think. Hasn't really happened to me though. The airing on tv always comes before I have money...

Because anime gets edited like nobody's business when a network goes to air it.

What do you get? You get Shonen-ai... and then again, crack is cheaper then anime.

I completely agree with CrimsonSpirals. It's a lot more satisfying owning the actual anime without the horrible dubs and censors. Getting subtitles allows you to exeprience the original version of the anime. And many times, the anime that is aired on TV is cut short because of time limits and commericals and stuff.

(Another plus, Buying it means no commercials!! XDD )

Then again I'm biased on the whole Japanese Subtitles thing because I read really fast and i can understand partial Japanese.... ^^;;

So maybe you shouldn't go by me.... =/

I much prefer to own the series/movie on DVD or VHS (if I like it), rather then watch it on the network. Like Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, for example. I bought the volume 1 DVD about two days after it came out, and that was about a month before Adult Swim had it on (give or take a few days). Even though AS had the series on, I continued to buy the DVDs.
Why? Because with DVDs, I can watch them whenever I want, and I can watch whatever episodes I want. And I get to watch "Tachikoma Days", which AS took out! XD

well, if you buy it, you dont get the horrible english dubbed crap (agry face) that tv corporations insist on putting in because they think we are too stupid to read the subtitles. and I dont think that I would be angry, because I could watch which ever episode I wanted when ever I wanted, instead of them being in some screwed up order or some thing. But it really bites that you baught it then it showed up on tv a short time later, and yes, for some anime, crack is cheaper (amazingly), and just out of curiosity, what did you buy that showed up??

That happened to me once and at first at was upset but then I got over it. The thing is, I had been watching the series with subtitles for so long that I couldn't sit through one more dub episode anymore. It was like watching a completely different series.
I think it would be easier and quicker to just air a series with subtitles but we all know *that* will never happen. *shrugs* Maybe there aren't enough people who can read in the country I live in.

well, it's ok because it's still different to have your own copy... besides I hate the dubbing here... I prefer the Japanese dubs + English subs

You be thankful that you have the sub and not just the dub, dammit! I've almost given up on watching TV anime...

Yeah! the best dubbing is the original one.

Re: What do u do when the Anime that cost you blood get ...
Yeah...the dubbed version is usually だめ...And I would be VERY annoyed if the Anime I had to slave myself to the point of bleeding to be able to buy it was shown on TV.

I'd say it's fine--I'd really rather own the anime on DVD than to have to wait for the TV stations to air new episodes...plus, no commercials! Also you can get the subtitled version instead of the dub. AND, when networks air an anime, they seem to think that they have to edit the crap out of it (and sometimes even cut portions of it). So, all in all I'd rather have it on DVD.

This happened to me with Champloo, Paranoia Agent, and Naruto (not really bought).

In i way i get pissed because im a bit greedy(not in the money kind of way) and some series i want to be one of the few people who actually saw it, so that i can brag about them, but still, there is nothing i can really do so i brag about watching them first that most people and then about watching them uncernsored
