Help with naming some Japanese art

click to see Can you help me find what it is called please? This was the original help message from my friend: "This was taken from the "Mario - Let Me Love You" video. I've had to touch it up slightly to get him out of the way. Anyway, I'm sure it's a style of art, I just don't know what. I want to be able to get it on my wall you see. That part I've not figured out yet, but if someone recognises this style of art that'd be ace.".

According to my Professor, it is not an ancient Japanese art. Maybe it is only based on the ancient style of art. Since it is not ancient, we may conclude that it is not an Ukyo-e. |
