Not sounding anti-anime, but are you irritated to the sometimes unrealistic facial expressions? The occasional closing of eyes is the best example. Are you irritated at this emotion sometimes? This question does not include the angry types, those happy types and sarcasticaly sad types only. |

Hihi~ in my opinion, those unrealistic happy and sad emotions are what make animes so adorable. ^_^ The way the eyes close express (and most of the times, even exaggerate) the emotions... they carry the meaning through better than just normal human-like expressions, don't you think? "The person important to you isn't always good." "Well, you don't have to take a bad person as your most loved person." "No. It's just that, no matter how... people can't defeat loneliness." |

I must agree with all of them... those exagerated emotions makes them really cute and at the same time gives them the humor needed for the kind of situation they are in... so there are no "IRRITATING" emotions... I especially like the sweat running down the back... here are some emotions and they are not irritating in fact they are cute! the puppy pout eyes in anime... aren't they cute? the dark shade over the eye line in some occasions with balls of spirits at the back ground... hehehehehehe how about those swirly eyes when they faint... see cute! |

Those unrealistic expressions are why anime is really interesting!!! Sweat drops and extreme happy expressions, or the river-like tears... are doing the job of making some anime really funny... So I don't find it irritating at all. I agree with Lady Magi... |

Yap! Yap! That's what makes anime interesting. You see, movies are ment to tell stories. It was meant to tell the audience what the creators wanted to tell. Those emoticons were created solely for that purpose. When the creators wanted to show that a certain chara is shy, they blush. When they're sad, they cry. When the creators wanted it to be mysterious, they don't give expression at all. That or the creators wanted it so that the audience conclude it for themselves. Besides, making the audience understand the emotions felt by characters in real live-action is very hard and thus creating great actor / actress, don't you think? The purpose is the same. Sou omotta. |

I..see..., sometimes we prefer unrealistic than realistic. Why? B'cause that way is more interesting. But some other people just don't like about it. Well, Whatever you saying, just enjoy. ~ Consider Carefully - Act Accordingly ~ |

This i what i think,to me unrealistic facial expressions presented by anime are things that attracts us to watch them. With it we could almost feel the anime emotions in the show and this makes us want to watch them even more.Besides, the facial expressions makes the anime funny and cute so yeah i see no reason to be irritated by these sort of things^^ |
