Hey guys, I hope you all are enjoying the new music that has been uploaded over the past few days! No more complaints about it, right?
On an unrelated note, some of you may have noticed the video that is sometimes displaying on the main page here. This is an effort into making GendouTV a reality in the sense that we would like to stream movies, games, funny videos and so forth to you all. This is similar to how Gendou Radio will work, but it's not implemented into the site like radio, and it's visual (obviously.) I would like your opinions, for those who have seen this. What do you think of the idea? What do you think of it so far? Do you believe it's a good idea? We want your opinions and thoughts as a community so that we can make this place better for everyone to enjoy! If you have anything at all to say about anything, please message either myself (Inu) or Lat about it, and we will do what we can. Thank you!

Hey guys, this is Inu coming to tell you all that music updates are now going to be more frequent! You may have noticed yesterday that a lot of songs came online. Don't expect this to happen often, but I will be releasing a few songs every couple of days, so keep you eyes out for your uploads! Like always, if you want a specific song uploaded to the site quicker, the best thing you can do is vote for it in the requests section. Note that if you cannot see a song you want uploaded in the requests section, you can always request it yourself and then instantly go and upload the song. I might not get to it if the song does not get many votes, but I will do my best to get all that I can. If you have any questions about uploading songs or requesting anything, please feel free to contact me.

Worth Reading 8/2 - Podcast Tryouts August 2nd, 2013
It's been a fun few days, and we are finally starting to see changes that many users have been clamoring for. Hopefully for the next few days, music release structure will finally have a faster release format. Details on that very soon. I would like to throw the idea once more about my podcast for Gendou.com. I am officially stating that as of today, I will be accepting audio recorded tryouts for the chance to be on the Gendou.com podcast. Please make sure your recording is uploaded and playable from whichever website you upload to, and then message me the URL.
Requirements:
1. Must be willing to compromise with the Eastern Standard Time.
2. Must have a high quality microphone with no background noise whatsoever.
3. Must have a working strong internet connection to support a high quality Skype call. (Must have Skype).
If you want some ideas of what to say in the audio recording, just do a review of your favorite anime or video game. As of right now there is no time limit. In other words, just try to impress me. Over the next week, this will become more relevant. Once again, please enjoy these reads:

Hey guys, I hope you all are liking news posts and the worth reading segments. Been thinking a lot about getting into writing with my talented writing editor Inu. Since there hasn't been any new updates regarding the things we are working on in the moment, I would like to bounce some ideas off you guys as a community. Gendou's Anime Music 2013! LET'S DO THIS! July 29th, 2013
Do you feel like the site is dwindling down with lack of content? Hey, this is Lat from your friendly neighborhood chatroom coming to tell you about updates to the site for the coming year! Many users have been complaining lately about the lack of music posted in the recent month, and I am here to put a spotlight into that situation with this first post. There is a powerful FAQ on the site regarding how the distribution of music works. You can check it out here. What I'm trying to say specifically is that the site is run by the users. If you want to see more songs, please help with the community regarding tagging songs, uploading songs, listing specific songs you want in the request section. Get more active and the site will BECOME more active. Every little bit helps. If you feel like you can be a great asset to the community, please feel free to message me directly, and let me know what you personally can do for the site. If I do not reply right away, do not worry, I will make sure that every message is replied to accordingly as I get to them. I am doing this in a strong effort to bring Gendou.com back to the glory days. I, along with the mods will make this effort in upmost priority, but we cannot do it alone. Visit the chatroom, talk to users, participate in the community, make forum posts with real discussions. Let's leave complaints in the past, and bring loveable times back that once used to be here in abundance.

The site suffered hardware failure a couple days ago. We're running on a new box, from a backup taken on the 18th. Sorry for the lost week of data, and the long down time!
